I have heard very little of their music but from what I have read is that the last album was not as popular.
Sacrilege!!! The Rolling Stones are my absolute favourite band ever but the Beatles are a very close second. I'm getting married in two weeks and my fiance finally revealed after five years that he hates the Rolling Stones lol. Still going to marry him!
truth; i thought they were ok, but never understood why such a big deal was made about them. i don't remember what was on which album either. and i do remember how big of a deal was made. i remember the landing in new york, the screaming girls, the first appearance on ed sullivan, all that. i just remember being in high school. voices and guitars didn't sound that interesting to me.
sorry but personal taste is personal taste, and mine is what it is and not what it is not. like i said, i thought they sounded ok, but i never understood what was supposed to be so great about them. at least not during their first couple of years of their music hitting the charts in the u.s. latter on, shortly before, and even individually during and after the break up, some of their work started to become a little more interesting. but during that first couple of years, after the landing and the ed sullivan gig, nothing they did spoke directly to what i would find interesting.
Rubber soul.. mad, sad and beautifull 06-The Beatles - Rubber soul (Full album) - YouTube Then Revolver.. old new and a bit of everything.. at the time The Beatles - Revolver (Full Album) - YouTube My least favourite.. yellow submarine... sorry, but that's my opinion..
Was asking my folks this question as my old man is a big fan. We have both abbey road and the best of the beatles albums one and two. The best of the beatles is awesome.
