My brother always wears hats, he looks better without them though. Nehoo, he will take a shower, then put his hat on while his hair is still wet. Wouldnt this make the hat moldy over time? And wouldn't it make your hair greasy after doing this constantly? I only know of one other person who does this, I find it strange and impractical
greasy? no because his hairs is clean after comig from the shower. mouldy? no because i dont think hats can accumulate mold. maybe he jsuts loves his hats, i love wearing hats too, its my 2nd collection of stuff
ive always loved me hats, 1st it was a couple of basball caps, then i got into beanies, a few of my friends are always telling me to get rid of it, but i feel so much better with it, like your brother, ill put it on when i come outt of the shower and such,(got it on now) also im growing my hair its about an inch and a half long right now, and even if i dont use shampoo it still gets all frizzy and hmm "flyaway" its enoying so i where a hat, anyway im growing for dreadlocks it should be the right length soon.
anything can get mouldy dude, it's not like food mould, it's water mould. i don't know if wet hair would do it though, but i bet his hat stinks pretty bad. the only thing he could really get from it is cradle cap, where the skin on your head gets really really dry and crusty and flakey and nasty...it happens when the hair on your head never fully dries. In h/s my friend would throw her hair in a messy pony/bun EVERY day and she developped this NASSSSSSSSSTY ass cradle cap that wouldn't go away for a long time. It was fucking gross and her hair reaked. the end.
You say he wears 'hats' but later you use singular 'hat'... if he only uses one and often puts it on wet, then maybe it would get mouldy and smelly, but if he has several I suppose they have time to dry out. The easiest way to find out for sure is get up close & sniff, if he's been doing it for a while I'm sure you can tell
well i wear mine all the time and put it on after a shower when my hair is wet but its not mouldy does stink a bit tho
