And then Trump's own remarks telling the ginned-up crowd to “walk down to the Capitol,” adding, “You will never take back our country with weakness.” Incitement? That's as explicit as crime bosses like the Don get. They always leave room for plausible denial. Did Henry II really incite the murder of Beckett when he asked "Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?" and some of his followers then acted to rid him of the meddlesome priest? Maybe Trump can clear up any ambiguity by following Henry's example and have himself flagellated in front of a cathedral. Fat chance of that!
