This happened to me a few years ago... about a year or so before I met my wife.
I had this dream, the most realistic dream I have ever had in my life. In this dream I was in a typical library, and I was in this group. I don't really recall what the group was but I know we had to pair up. Well I got paired up with this woman, who was about my age. She was perfect! She wasn't a rail or a blob, she had this perfect hourglass figure and curly-curly red hair. We had to go on this savenger hunt that related to what ever we were studying, anyways. We grew very attached and I knew in this dream that she was the one I needed in my life. She excused herself from the group for a moment and left.
Well some time when by and I got nervous so I started to ask everyone around if they had seen her. Everyone (even the group members) said "no". So she finnaly comes back, but she is different and she doesn't recognise me. I wake up so distraught I am crying my eyes off and searching around my apt. for a good 5 mins looking for any clue that she was really in my life. I searched for almost a year online for this person.
My wife met me online and even though she doesn't have red hair.... she is just like the girl from my dream. I get the same feelings when I'm around her and i'm happy.

Oh hon! That is so beautiful. Did your wife have dreams about you before you both met? I had one of my husband when I was 15 and we met when I was 19. He had one of me, he says, when he was about 15 too. I'm 27 now and we're still together, have a son and a baby on the way (due in 2 weeks) and though we are complete opposites we are very happy.

How long have you two been together? I wish you the very best. :D

*big hugs* to you both. :D

true love... the thought of the possibility boggles my mind (in fact i wrote a brief thesis of the impossibilty of it for a philosophy class once.) but could you two be living proof? i dont know but it's nice to think about!

    Thanks guys.
My wife and I are (IMHO) a perfect couple. We are almost the same, but enough differances that make us two separate people. We have never fought, or really argued. I wake up every morning to her and I go to bed with her in my mind.

I used to think it wasn't possible. But, now I can't imagine thinking that. lol

My husband and I aren't the "prefect couple." We're both very different but we're very much alike at the same time. We would do anything for eachother.

We do fight sometimes. But, we see that as proof that there is still passion in our relationship. We never stay mad at eachother for long. Usually by the time the fight or argument is over we're over it and back to normal. lol He's never had to come home with flowers or something to try and bribe my forgiveness.

    True love does exist. :D

    *hugs*

    Nice premonition skills there! ;)

I've actually had several dreams like that ... you know, the kind of dreams where you've met the perfect person, and you and this perfect person are doing something really wonderful in the dream (saving the earth, making money, having sex, whatever it is, it's "wonderful"), and then either something happens in the dream to screw it up, or you are woken up.

I've found myself lying there for a minute, just thinking about the dream, then slowly (but surely) realizing that reality just isn't that way, and then just wanting to lie there crying for a while.

I wish my dreams were premonitive!

    "True love does exist."
not for me... not for everyone. maybe true love does exist but does this mean EVERYONE has a "true lover"? someone perfect for them? imo no... it's a mistake a random coincidence that two people perfect (for eachother) end up in love. life is random so i guess true love must be to!

just an opion interesting subject but dont get me started on fate...

I don't know if there is only one true someone for anyone or everyone. But, I do believe that it is possible to fall in love and for that love to be pure and strong and "true". I dreamt about my husband long before I even knew he existed. But, I've also dreamt about other people I have met in my life or situations. May sound weird, but it does happen to most people. So, it's not all that odd.

All I know for sure is that I love my husband beyond doubt. We're very happy. That's all that matters.

    *hugs*
