Trump lost two cases in MI and GA.

'This ship has sailed': Judges reject 2 more cases from pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell

    excerpt:

"Judge Parker offered the most direct rebuke to date to the unfounded allegation Powell has been repeating in press conferences, at rallies, and on social media -- that the election machines manufactured by Dominion Voting Systems were somehow tainted or rigged by powerful outside forces.

The judge called the notion that votes were secretly switched from Trump to Biden on Dominion machines "an amalgamation of theories, conjecture, and speculation that such alterations were possible." And she noted that Powell's crusade against the voting systems only came after the election tilted to Biden."

'This ship has sailed': Judges reject 2 more cases from pro-Trump lawyer Sidney Powell

    excerpt:

"As a series of judges have done in the weeks since Trump lost to Democrat Joe Biden, U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten, a Bush appointee, rejected the notion that the president's supporters could re-litigate the outcome in the courts.

"They want this court to substitute its judgment for that of two and a half million Georgia voters who voted for Joe Biden," Batten said in a Monday morning hearing. "This I am unwilling to do."

At the same time, a Michigan court was issuing a stinging 36-page order in which the judge took issue with nearly every aspect of Powell's lawsuit -- saying it was filed too late, lacked evidence, and sought from the court an "extraordinary" outcome."

Trump's attorney, Jenna Ellis, wants the Arizona and Michigan legislatures to reopen. She's claiming the closure is being done to hamper Trump's effort to overturn the election.

She could go even further by alleging that someone deliberately infected Giuliani with the coronavirus or that someone faked his positive coronavirus test result.

Ellis could even demand that hearings be conducted at the (currently closed) state legislatures about a conspiracy that the legislatures were deliberately closed to hamper Guiliani's effort to overturn the election using conspiracy narratives.

Ellis could bring back Mellissa Carone for an encore appearance at the new conspiracy hearing.

The state legislatures in MI and AZ can use the closure time to disinfect the chambers from Giuliani's coronavirus and gas problem.

Trump's infection of the White House poses problems for the new administration.

Inauguration Day: Bidens' move into White House complicated by COVID

    excerpt:

"In just six hours on Inauguration Day, belongings of a departing president's family are moved out, carpets are cleaned, furniture is rearranged, fresh art is hung and the executive mansion is transformed for its new residents before they set foot inside.

But staff tasked with preparing the executive mansion for the arrival Jan. 20 of President-elect Joe Biden and his family will do so under extraordinary circumstances: the COVID-19 contagion that has already infected departing President Donald Trump, first lady Melania Trump and multiple White House staffers.

When someone working in a school, business, library or other public building tests positive for coronavirus or is even suspected of contracting the disease, the property owners or managers often respond by ordering the structure to undergo what is known as a "deep cleaning" – a process in which highly specialized contractors are brought in to eradicate the virus with botanical disinfectants."

December 7 is Pearl Harbor Day.

On May 7, Trump said the coronavirus was worse than the Pearl Harbor attack. He used the remark to blame China.

The U.S. coronavirus death toll is now approaching 100 times the Pearl Harbor death toll.

Trump says coronavirus worse 'attack' than Pearl Harbor

    excerpt:

"US President Donald Trump has described the coronavirus pandemic as the "worst attack" ever on the United States, pointing the finger at China.

Mr Trump said the outbreak had hit the US harder than the Japanese bombing of Pearl Harbor in World War Two, or the 9/11 attacks two decades ago.

His administration is weighing punitive actions against China over its early handling of the global emergency."

Beijing says the US wants to distract from its own response to the pandemic.

Five weeks after the election, Trump has become even more entrenched in his truther narratives.

Trump remark on Dec. 7, 2020:

"Well, I think the case has already been made. If you look at the polls, it was a rigged election. You look at the different states. The election was totally rigged. It’s a disgrace to our country. It’s like a third-world country — these ballots pouring in from everywhere, using machinery that nobody knows ownership, nobody knows anything about. They have “glitches,” as they call them. Glitches. The glitches weren’t glitches. They got caught sending out thousands of votes — all against me, by the way.

No, this was like from a third-world nation. And I think the case has been made. And now we find out what we can do about it. But you’ll see a lot of big things happening over the next couple of days."

Over 1500 Attorneys Press Bar Authorities to Condemn & Investigate Trump’s Campaign Lawyers

    excerpts:

"WASHINGTON, D.C. December 7, 2020 – More than 1500 attorneys – including former ABA and state Bar presidents, retired federal judges and state Supreme Court justices, and former leaders of lawyer disciplinary bodies – have signed an Open Letter urging Bar Associations to condemn President Trump’s campaign attorneys and urging Bar disciplinary authorities to investigate the attorneys’ conduct.

The conduct relates to unfounded lawsuits seeking to overturn the presidential election and to false and deceitful public statements asserting election fraud – statements the lawyers have made to the public, but that they have not dared to make in court."

"The open letter calls out conduct by Rudolph Giuliani, Joseph DiGenova, Jenna Ellis, Victoria Toensing and Sidney Powell as violative of the ABA’s Model Rules of Professional Conduct that prohibits lawyers from making frivolous claims in court and engaging in conduct involving dishonesty, deceit and misrepresentation in or out of court."

Trump's attorneys are using tactics that involve dishonesty, deceit and misrepresentation to try to prove their evidence-lacking allegations that the election was full of dishonesty, deceit and misrepresentation.

Trump has conditioned his supporters to think he is invincible.

Many Georgia Republicans put Trump ahead of party and expect him to stay as president, hurting chances in Senate runoff

    excerpt:

“At the end of all this, on January 20th, you will see Trump being sworn in again,” a Trump supporter who only gave the name “Doc” told Yahoo News at Saturday’s “Victory Rally” in Valdosta. “It’s going to be brilliant ... because Trump has never let them beat him in any situation before, including the impeachment.”

Doc represents tens of thousands of Republicans nationwide and throughout Georgia who are convinced that Trump will be inaugurated for a second term despite losing the Nov. 3 election to Joe Biden.

“[Trump has] had four years to prepare for this moment,” Doc added. “Trust me. He’s not gonna let Wile E. Coyote beat him on the biggest stage.”

Secrecy and spin: How Florida's governor misled the public on the COVID-19 pandemic

Secrecy and spin: How Florida's governor misled the public on the COVID-19 pandemic

    excerpt:

"DeSantis, a Republican who owes his job to early support from President Donald Trump, imposed an approach in line with the views of the president and his powerful base of supporters. The administration suppressed unfavorable facts, dispensed dangerous misinformation, dismissed public health professionals, and promoted the views of scientific dissenters who supported the governor's approach to the disease.

The DeSantis administration's approach to managing Covid-19 information carries costs. It supports a climate in which people proudly disdain masks, engage in dangerous group activities that could spread the disease, and brush aside information that conflicts with their political views. With partygoers packing Florida bars and holiday travelers filling hotels and guest rooms, the state faces a few difficult months before the possible relief of vaccines.

These findings are based on interviews with more than 50 people, including scientists, doctors, political leaders, employees of the state health department, and other state officials, as well as more than 4,000 pages of documents."

Secrecy and spin: How Florida's governor misled the public on the COVID-19 pandemic

    excerpt:

    — The Florida Department of Health's county-level spokespeople were ordered in September to stop issuing public statements about Covid-19 until after the Nov. 3 election.

    — The DeSantis administration refused to reveal details about the first suspected cases in Florida, then denied the virus was spreading from person to person — despite mounting evidence that it was.

    — State officials withheld information about infections in schools, prisons, hospitals and nursing homes, relenting only under pressure or legal action from family members, advocacy groups and journalists.

    — The DeSantis administration brushed aside scientists and doctors who advocated conventional approaches to fighting the virus, preferring scientists on the fringes who backed the governor's positions.

    — The governor's spokesman regularly takes to Twitter to spread misinformation about the disease, including the false claim that Covid was less deadly than the flu.

    — The governor highlighted statistics that would paint the rosiest picture possible and attempted to cast doubt on the validity of Florida's rising death toll."

Gov. DeSantis of Florida needed a distraction for the damaging article about him published in the Sentinel.

Agents raid home of Rebekah Jones.

With guns drawn, police raid home and seize computers of COVID-19 data whistleblower

    excerpt:

"Eight months ago, Deborah Birx of the White House Coronavirus Task Force praised Florida’s COVID-19 dashboard as an example of “the kind of knowledge and power we need to put into the hands of the American people.” That dashboard was built by Rebekah Jones.

But in May, Jones was fired by the Florida Department of Health for reportedly refusing to manipulate that data to justify reopening the state — and now, Florida state police have raided her home and taken the equipment she was using to maintain a new, independent COVID-19 tracker of her own.

Jones posted a series of tweets about the incident, including a video of police entering — with guns drawn."

    Happy “Safe Harbor Day”

It’s the date set in law by the 1887 Electoral Count Act that declares that Congress must count the electoral votes of states that have chosen their electors

Since the safe harbor deadline means Congress is required to accept the post-election certification of a state’s electoral votes if they have certified those votes by the safe harbor deadline, after today any further legal challenges by Trump contesting the election will be moot in all but one state. Wisconsin

In other words, once the safe harbor deadline passes this year, Trump has no more recourse to challenge election results since most states have already certified electoral votes and those certified votes must be counted no matter what. The only holdout is Wisconsin, which will miss its safe harbor deadline certification by a few days due to a lingering legal challenge by Trump’s team there.

Trump twice called Pennsylvania's Republican Speaker of the House last week in another effort to trying to steal the election.
Trump called Pa. House speaker to ask for help overturning election results: report
That's the third state (two states, one commonwealth).

Meanwhile, the Republican Speaker of the House, Bryan Cutler, and 74 other Republican Legislatures signed a letter asking other Legislators to ignore Pennsylvania's popular vote and send their own Electoral college representatives to Washington.
    Steal the election.
