my great gramma that is. today is also her 101st bday. i started crying when i found out but i mean, at that age... how sad can you be?
yeah i actually got to go in and see her first... she had a stroke yesterday and couldnt talk but she was holding my hand and squeezing it and rubbing it and she had a stuffed dog i got her, laying on her. she died 30 mins. after i left.
in the nursing home there was some retarded (sorry lynsey) and physically disabled guy in a wheel chair that kept grunting repearly and spinning his wheel chair in circles. was it wrong of me to find that funny?
was he happy and having a good time? if so, i think it's fine to find that funny. a shared laugh is a greater laugh. sorry about gramma. at least she went quickly, and got to see beloveds.
101!! Holy Moly!! she must have had a fantastic sense of humour to put up with a century+ of life on this planet. Sorry for your loss Interval, but if your grandma was here I'd just say congratulations.
I am sorry, that’s really sad; I don't know how I will handle loosing my grandmother, when she passes.
thanks everyone. yeah, it is sad.. im so glad i got to see her today and at least she lived a full life.
