I look forward to everything summer will hold, things I will name in further posts because I can hardly contain my excitement long enough to sit chained to a keyboard. Summer afternoons, is there anything more magical? And in the winter, in the wintertime I learned that summer always lives within me, untouched and constant, ready to flourish with the first blossoming wildflower. And I smile at the hope of a summer, and the lesson a that summer brings, a lesson in the meaning of love. And even though I know I am summer to you, instead of all seasons all year round, it almost makes it better, more meaningful to me. And how you can you say that laying under a willow tree listening to the Pennsylvanian creeks flow, or the Michigan lakes ripple for that matter is a waste of time? Because in summer everything is slow, and time is obsolete, and in those hazy days, for us, time..there is never enough, and each day becomes more measureless than the last, until I can’t even remember how far into summer we are, only that I am lost. And summer, is sheding all clothing, all worries and reservations of fear, all inhibitions vanished. Drunken with the thought of a day lasting an infinity, thoughts scattered into the ether, the clouds spinning them together into feathers of white masses..
