Hey guys! ✌ Sorry if it sounded like I was saying you gotta do everything on the list to be a hippie. Not what I was intending at all, friends. ❤ And I'm sorry if it came off that way. I was just wondering if there are any legit hippies here who DO do those things. By legit, I just mean people who considers themselves hippies as oppose to people who don't consider themselves hippies.

 

To young to be a legit hippy.

To be hip to something means you know something. When you're hip to the Cardi B and Offset drama, that means you understand what's going on.



The Four Types Of A Modern-Day Hippie

 

Never too young to be a legit hippie. An OG hippie, maybe. But certainly not too young to be a legit hippie. Many legit hippies of all ages can be found at rainbow gatherings, music festivals, etc. ✌ ☮

 

Rainbow gatherings are mostly for Gay gatherings in the UK.

As one who recalls the days of in my youth the Hippie was much more than the stereotype image of dugged up, sexed out and peace loving individual

 

Ther was Ridicule, Persecution and Volence
However, in adversity one can shine
Conviction + Conscience = Character

In the US, it's the name of a hippie gathering. But they started in 1972. I think the word rainbow in the name is referencing tye dye.

We have differences for certain things in the UK.
