I dont know how many of you have heard of OAR, but there a real badass jam band. You should definately download something of theres and see what you think.......those of you who have heard of them, what do you think?!
Man..OAR is absolutly excellent, ive seen them twice live, blew me away with the cleanliness of their sound, and im Sax-partial, being a sax player, man they absolutly rock and im lookin forward to seein em again soon maybe
i dont know that i like OAR that much....i used to like them alot and then i felt like they were turning boy band and i didnt listen to them that much. dont get me wrong they did play alot of good songs and i have been to a couple of there shows but...not something i would make a point to go see anymore...
i dont know what your really basing that opinion on.....because they sure dont like like a boy band, and i have never heard a song that compares to one.....but thats cool....thanks for the feedback
im not sure what the cd is called but it has dareh meyod and other songs...there not bad but i dont like some of the songs. I guess there alright but not my favorite
I used to like OAR a whole lot. In fact, my boyfriend and I took a four hour drive up to Cincinatti to hear them.... only to get kicked out during the opening act (Mark Broussard) because we had brought in an outside drink. (A cherry coke.) So, I begged and cried to get back in, but they wouldn't let me. So then, about five minutes later, we saw a drive by shooting... right in front of us. Not the best experience. They're still good, but I didn't like their last album as much... I guess I could kind of see where the boy band comment came in. But they still kick ass.
OAR is a great band for just about anything. For driving, jammin out, walkin down the road, etc. I hope more people check em out ASAP.
