According to the New York Times, Caputo claimed (without any evidence) that CDC officials were forming a “resistance unit” aimed at undermining Trump.

“You understand that they’re going to have to kill me, and unfortunately, I think that’s where this is going,” Caputo said in a live video hosted on his personal Facebook page.

Caputo also spread baseless claims that left-wing groups were preparing for armed conflict after the presidential election.

“And when Donald Trump refuses to stand down at the inauguration, the shooting will begin,” Caputo said. “The drills that you’ve seen are nothing. ... If you carry guns, buy ammunition, ladies and gentlemen, because it’s going to be hard to get.”

Caputo has recently weathered severe criticism after Politico obtained emails showing the official had sought to change key CDC reports on coronavirus, even complaining that the reports “would undermine the president’s optimistic messages about the outbreak.”"

 

Trump stated on September 14, 2020 that he thinks global climate will start getting cooler. He says to just watch.

Trump said the coronavirus would go away with the warm weather.

People are supposed to trust Trump's gut feeling.

The REPUBLICAN PARTY counts on ................. depends on ................. many of their base not paying attention to or understanding who has done what. So many of their base just listen to a loud, flapping yap spewing some false crap and they blindly latch onto that crap.

The Bush / Cheyney terms were all about DE-REGULATING the financial services industry. The budgets of federal watchdog and policing agencies like the SEC and others were slashed by REPUBLICAN hands. Without enough budgetary resources and staff, plus putting other agencies under the control of political appointees, the financial "cops" were essentially rendered "toothless." That's when banks began to devise a scheme to "bundle" numbers of home mortgages together and sell or trade them like they were stocks. (That has never been done before) In order to provide large numbers of mortgages to "put on the market", bankers were told to approve many mortgages that would previously never been approved. I personally know a banker who said they were telling people to just write "Dr." in front of their names on the mortgage applications so they would be approved with no investigation.

Does that sound like financial regulations should have been removed by Bush and Cheyney??? Does that sound like a good situation for our economy??? Still think de-regulation is a good thing and we shouldn't have policing agencies to keep the criminals out of the financial industry??? How many millions of people lost their life savings in that "legal theft" of people's money????

When there are hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars of people's life savings at stake .................... is it a good idea to have no federal oversight by agencies designated to protect against fancy-suit-wearing crooks???

BTW - the people who lost money were also REPUBLICANS - many of whom whined ................"How can this happen?? They can't do that!! Where's the FDIC and other government agencies to stop things like this" ???

Trump has been favoring the petroleum refineries but is in a difficult situation in an election year to please the farmers who could generate income via selling their grains for ethanol production.

That constituency helped elect Trump in 2016 but has become frustrated by the administration’s handling of the Renewable Fuel Standard requiring refiners to blend billions of gallons of the corn-based fuel into gasoline.

Trump’s Environmental Protection Agency has quadrupled the number of exemptions handed to refiners, freeing them of this obligation and saving them tens of millions of dollars in the process. It also has refused to announce plans to pare down the waiver program in line with a court ruling from earlier this year.

Sources told Reuters this week that such an announcement was likely to come soon, after Trump ordered his EPA to deny scores of pending waiver requests to assuage Farm Belt voters."

An ICE Nurse Revealed That A Georgia Detention Center Is Performing Mass Hysterectomies

On Monday, a nurse at a private immigration detention center in Georgia came forward about a range of dangerous medical practices at a U.S. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility. According to her, the center has not only ignored COVID-19 protocols, but is actively performing mass hysterectomies on detained people.
The whistleblower, Dawn Wooten, worked at the Irwin County Detention Center (ICDC) — which is operated by LaSalle Corrections — where she allegedly witnessed the company’s refusal to test detainees for COVID-19 as well as spoke to several people who each had their uterus removed as part of an unwarranted hysterectomy procedure. According to the official complaint lodged with the Office of the Inspector General for the Department of Homeland Security, Wooten said that the facility was performing hysterectomies on people who reported having heavy menstrual cycles or other more serious pain, but that “everybody’s uterus cannot be that bad.”
“I’ve had several inmates tell me that they’ve been to see the doctor and they’ve had hysterectomies and they don’t know why they went or why they’re going,” Wooten said in the report. She also noted how ICDC consistently uses one out-of-facility doctor, who is responsible for the hysterectomies in addition to accidentally removing the wrong ovary in one patient. “He’s the uterus collector.”
“Everybody he sees has a hysterectomy — just about everybody. He’s even taken out the wrong ovary on a young lady [detained immigrant woman],” Wooten said. “She was supposed to get her left ovary removed because it had a cyst on the left ovary; he took out the right one.”
The complaint was filed on the behalf of Wooten by advocacy groups Project South, Georgia Detention Watch, Georgia Latino Alliance for Human Rights, and South Georgia Immigrant Support Network. In their report, Wooten details other malpractices at the facility, including lack of COVID-19 testing for symptomatic patients, as well as a general lack of reporting cases.
The complaint also explains why she decided to come forward publicly: Wooten had been reprimanded and demoted by ICDC when she spoke up about the poor practices at the detention center.
“You put two and two together,” she said. “I’m asking for these things and speaking for these detainees. I’m a problem. I’m being seen and I’m not supposed to be seen or heard. It makes you look like you’re not doing your job.”
This isn’t the first time the United States has forced people — especially people of color — into unwanted sterilization, which is a human rights violation and a form of eugenics, according to the World Health Organization. For more than 70 years, California led the country in sterilizations; during that time about 20,000 people were sterilized against their will in state institutions. In the South, Black women were treated as “practice” for incoming medical students and had been sterilized unknowingly during C-sections. Other times, they were coerced in order to retain welfare benefits. Sterilization was so wide-spread in North Carolina that a bill was passed in 2015 to give victims financial compensation.
Of course, when it comes to undocumented immigrants, who are regularly referred to as “unwanted” “aliens” by the current president, it’s not so surprising that these practices went unreported for so long. One immigrant in the complaint put it best: “This place is not equipped for humans.”

I liked my aunt more than a mom when I was kid. Someone else's parents are always the cool ones and I was good friends with my cousin. His older brother ended up joining the Marines and committing suicide. She is a Trumper because she thinks Trump singed a bill that allowed vets medical care to be goverment paid and they don't need to use the VA. As a lot of vets know that is not the place to get help. It's a long wait if you even manage to get it and I'm sure she thinks something like that would have helped my cousin. She is a single issue voter and that is veterans.

It was actuly Obama who had most of this idea Trump just tweaked it a bit and put his name on it. But Facebook will never tell her that. It's sad how he has divided families. A lot of nice enough people who don't understand they are being lied to. She is who I picture when I think Trump voter who is not racist just an ignorant enabler of racism. They do exist.

Trump takes credit for passing veterans bill that passed under Obama

In 2014, Obama signed a bill that permitted veterans to seek private care outside of Veterans Affairs facilities. It also gave money for the VA to hire additional doctors and nurses and overhauled the VA's electronic medical records.

Trump did sign the VA Mission bill, which permits veterans to have a private doctor if their wait time is 20 days (28 days in the case of specialty care) or if their drive is 30 minutes, according to an Associated Press fact check of similar comments by the president.

 

In Trump's mind, it doesn't matter much because Russian troops are 'our' troops.

 

Russia is an oligarchy where being gay or Muslim is not acceptable. Republicans love a society built upon the rich and Christian. They will never support western Europe because there are hate speech laws and strong tax. You could be a Muslim and no one cares unless you are the rare Muslim man who does not accept European women's fashion. It does happen but no where near the level Fox news claims. The right wing would rather own liberals than protect democracy.

 

Trump said he wanted churches packed with parishioners on Easter Sunday after he knew a month earlier that the coronavirus was deadly and highly contagious..

Trump told Woodward the day after Easter Sunday that a few days earlier he ran out of a room after someone sneezed to avoid the coronavirus.

What I'm seeing here of late is Trump and Nothingyahoo courting Sunna Muslim dictatorships like Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Bahrain to form a resistance to the Shia alliance nations like Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran. The big fight in the Middle East is Shia vs, Sunna and Israel wants good relations with the Sunna. Trump just wants money from the rich oil giants. Kushner liked the $500 million he got from Qatar.

 

The situation hasn't been tranquil during Trump's term in spite of him talking like he's going to put an end to the civil unrest and the virus.
