President Donald Trump on Monday shared a handful of social media posts questioning the expertise of his own public health officials, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, and suggesting their scientific counsel was intended to thwart his political standing ahead of November’s general election.

In a burst of early morning online activity, Trump retweeted messages from the politically conservative former game show personality Chuck Woolery — who had stints hosting “Wheel of Fortune” and “Love Connection” — which lamented the spread of the “most outrageous lies” regarding the coronavirus pandemic

Everyone is lying. The CDC, Media, Democrats, our Doctors, not all but most, that we are told to trust. I think it's all about the election and keeping the economy from coming back, which is about the election. I'm sick of it,” Woolery wrote in a tweet shared by the president.

Chuck Woolery was the host of Wheel of Fortune in the 1970's.

He was also Mr. Dingle on the TV show The New Zoo Revue for little children in the 1970's.

Trump picks such people for health advice over someone like Fauci who has decades of health experience.

 

All Trump needs to do now is replace Fauci with Mr. Dingle of New Zoo Revue (Chuck Woolery).

It's only 15 cases and will soon be zero without any deaths.

It isn't as bad as World War I (116,000).

17 states are suing Trump over his new visa rules for colleges and universities.

Trump's been on a rage lately against schools. He stated he would cut off funding to schools that wouldn't fully reopen.

When he realized that wasn't viable, he said he would have the Treasury Department review the tax exempt status of schools. He threatened to revoke the exemptions for schools he claimed were indoctrinating students with leftist ideas.

“The Directive was arbitrary and capricious,” the lawsuit reads, “because it failed to offer a reason for its reversal of prior policy ... failed to consider the substantial reliance interests of universities and foreign students and the harm this abrupt reversal will cause.”

The plaintiff states — which include Massachusetts, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and Wisconsin — claim that they will suffer “irreparable harm” if the court doesn’t vacate the rule.

In particular, the plaintiffs claim that the rule imposes large financial and administrative burdens on colleges and universities. The lawsuit notes that schools would have to reevaluate the plans they’d already made for the upcoming year and would lose substantial revenue from international students, who commonly pay out-of-state rates and do not receive financial aid. They also argue that ICE’s directive would interfere with reopening guidelines that state governments have already issued, and that the pressure to reopen would make it harder for those governments to keep their communities safe."

 

The mere fact that shit like this is posted - that the president of the U.S believes "his gut" and game show hosts for his approach to address and handle(?) a global pandemic - is nothing short of frightening.

And another thing .............. why even respond to TROLLS??? Most of us here know what the truth is concerning Rump's corruption, lawlessness, TOTAL INCOMPETENCE in the office of president, and in particular - his opinion of - and approach toward - the Covid-19 pandemic. So why let a very small person (or only a couple persons) with blinders on, stir you to respond to bullshit???

There was a woman in Arizona on an outdoor interview with a reporter who lamented that her husband is hospitalized in very serious condition with Covid-19. She told the reporters that she and her husband thought the Covid-19 pandemic was a hoax. But, she confessed, they were wrong and now she's very scared. How sad for others like them who believed Rump and his circle of liars.

How crass and indifferent are the people who say, "Well - it's only 137,000 people who've died. It's not a big percentage of the population." Like lives are a box-score in a sporting event. As if people are like poker chips to be wagered.

If anyone can't see the correlation between the states that were hot to "open up everything" and the huge spikes in Covid-19 cases ..................... you ARE an ostrich with your head in the sand. FULLY, COMPLETELY, WILLFULLY BLIND.
