do you guys know how hard these things are to get? i took a sample test of road signs which was very easy and i passed, but i only got 8 of 10 on the sample general knowledge test. how hard are these things? is there anything that i absolutley should know before i take it? the manuals huge and i really dont want to read the whole thing, so could someone some up the important stuff?
I only heard of one person that failed it.......... now the actual liscence test is a totally different story...........

Don't even worry about it, really if you know that you're supposed to drive on the right side, you're cool.
its not that hard. i got mine last summer. i wasnt expecting some of the questions they asked..a lot of them were statistics about how many people die a year in crashes,alcohol related crashes, etc. i was like wtf. i wouldnt worry about it though. just try to look halfway decent for yur picture cause i looked like hell when i got mine. man i regret that
There are lots of sample tests online that have questions identical to the actual permit test...can be really helpful
I passed the first try, years ago. Trust me, its not that hard. I'm sure it varies from state to state, but the written part of the test is definatly the easiest, the part for getting your learners permit. The driving part is a little harder though, at least it was for me, because the instructor made me so damned nervous sitting there watching me drive.
the test is pretty easy. i didn't study for it either, i just went in, took the test and got my permit 5 minutes later. i know 2 people who have failed there permit test. i think its pretty funny. now the driving test is pretty easy if you know how to drive. mine was a little different, the trooper i had was wicked pissed when it was my turn. the kid before me actually drove up onto a sidewalk and almost crashed into a couple parked cars. needless to say, the tropper failed the kid on the spot, got out of the car and walked back to the test site. but the trooper ended up beign pretty cool with me, since it was my first time driving a SUV. i passed everything. not that hard.
