Hi people, I'm considering visiting the Sziget Festival in Hungary this summer with some friends. I've read the Fest FAQ at http://www.sziget.hu/festival_english and I have some questions for those of you who happen to be familiar with the venue. First of all, I don't smoke cigarettes but I smoke a pipe. Will there be a problem with my pipe, my bag of tobacco and the cleaning gadget that is metallic and sharp? Will the security want to take some of these from me? Secondly, is it a good idea to bring along a 2-year-old kid with me on the Fest? And, last but not least , how hard is it to sneak some weed or other goodies (shrooms, XTC) on the island? Is the security too tight? I hope some of you have some experience about this mind-blowing event and can help me with some advice not only to the questions I asked but with whatever comes to mind. Thanks in advance! Peace!
I think you'd be making a huge mistake bringing a two-year-old to Sziget. Unless you're not planning to see any shows and you're going to live in a nice and clean hotel with proper toilets somewhere nearby, that is... Don't know about the pipe and stuff, but the other 'goodies' might be a problem. If you know where to get it on location in Hungary it shouldn't be a big problem to get it onto the island though. Oh by the way. I was there some 7 or 8 years ago and was in some strange state of mind the whole time so I had no idea what was going on around me. Hence I can't give much advice about other things. Ask if you think of something specific. peace -Pat
