That's way cool! Some other things we need are barefoot high schools, barefoot colleges and barefoot shopping malls. On the other hand I should be careful what I wish for. One of the things I like best about going barefoot in public places is that I feel like I'm getting away with doing something that I'm not supposed to do. Like I had mentioned on one of the other posts, I've never had any reservations about going almost anywhere without a shirt, but I feel like I'm naked when I go somewhere barefoot. It's something I get a rush from doing.
I think all those places should be barefoot/shirt-free and these peoples right should be protected so uptight people cant deny them their right to go barefoot/shirtless here.
if i could have went barefoot to school, i would have. i can go to certain stores barefoot, but others have a big problem with it. you just have to know where you can and what places dont give 2 shits.
April you would have loved my high school - it was a mile from the beach, a huge surfer school. Most everyone went to school barefoot. Their biggest problem with the dress code wasn't that people didn't wear shoes...it was that girls showed up in bikinis and skirts and the guys in trunks. I went barefoot so much in high schooll, that upon college it was really second nature to me.
