ExZendiks: Stop bitching just to your friends, Start a Website

To all the exZendik "Warriors" who've posted on the Lengthy Zendik thread on this forum and to anyone just getting to this forum, Rasha & I would like to start a website as a sort of clearing house for Zendik alumni. The site would allow anyone to vent, to contact people they met on the farm & lost touch with, and to share and discuss ideas such as philosophy, art, communities, and ecological living. (The kinds of interests that made you try Zendik to begin with). The site will contain a forum and featured articles about Zendik & related subjects.



The site won't be there solely to bash Zendik (although some of that might happen). It will be a resource that perhaps could lead to a new community or who knows where.



What we'd like from you are ideas and perhaps some initial writing or images to get the project started. Then we'll be able to put the website together.



Please post your ideas, etc. on this new thread and we'll get back to you.

It definitely sounds like a good start.

 

Just a quick word about this project. It is good to hear so many people willing to help us out on this. People can start to email me content and or ideas at hi_rob@email.com and I will get started on building the site. We will have to be concerned about what content we do put on the site. We cannot put anything that Arol has under copyright. I know that in the past when people have tried to put stuff on the net about the farm and Wulf's philosophy she has threatened to sue them and I do not doubt for a minute that she would, despite the fact that she has been saying for years that that is one of the problems with the "death culture". This is just another example about how Arol has turned Wulf's philosophy from an attempt to save the world into a way to keep her in power and in a comfortable way of life. That is why they are unwilling to give Wulf's philosophy to the world, except in small, heavily edited pieces. As a result of this, we will not be putting anything that she has under copyright, including any of Wulf's writings, any image or artwork done at the farm, and anything that was ever included in one of the mags. Just so we all know what we are dealing with.

 

Well you can’t copy his text word for word but, much his philosophy is not exactly unique. So you just have to be careful about the language you use. Also, if you did the site as bolg you might have some protection as a journalist. With Fawn, having her own TV show and all she might well be considered a public figure. Just be sure you can prove what you write and offer the farm the opportunity to comment on the record. You should see if some lawyer would be willing to give you some free advice. Tell them about your experience on the farm and that you want to tell the world about it. Be prepared to hear a lot of no’s (about free advise) but, stay persistent and you will come across a yes. You might even find a lawyer willing to represent you for free should the zendiks decide to sue you.

 

Sorry but being in the moment is not exclusive to the Zendiks just as the truth or eating organic isn't a Zendik original. Even the word Zendik is not original, it's Sanskrit, wonder why all the Yoga folks are not suing Zendik.....
I've been cutting and pasting news articles from CNN and posting them to other forums providing a link of course and have yet to be sued by CNN. This proves how much Zendiks are willing to do to change the world, if you're not helping them to change Their world you have no business mentioning them. I'm sure if you sent them a cut though.....
If they were indeed not a lie they would have Farms all over this country, just think if Bastrop, Vero Beach and NC were still occupied with Zendiks!

 

Hello, All. I was away presenting at a conference in Albuquerque for a few days.

FTNW's initial image (which he provided a link to) looks great, I think as a start.


I hope that every one is sending information to Rasha, so that he can put the website together.

As far as copyrights go, we may have to consult a copyright lawyer to determine who owns the copyrights to Wulf's writing. As we all know, Wulf is dead (and so is his dream as far as I can see). Does one have to will specific copyrights or do they inherit automatically? From what I understand Wulf & Arol were not married, so does she have any claim at all? I suppose the rights might be held by Fawn or the "Equlibruim foundation," or whatever it's called.

But really, do you think the Zendiks would spend their resources hiring an out of state lawyer to attack a website? Maybe, but the expense might be too high, especially if there are murky legal issues involved.

I doubt the Zendiks could seek a monetary remedy since we'd be making no money off anything we put on the net. You'd think Arol would want Wulf's writing to get attention, to spread his high ideals, etc., but of course we all know now that she's a fraud, so she might go hire a lawyer to keep the "truth" from being read directly (much like the medieval Church worked tirelessly to prevent anyone but the clergy from reading the Bible).

We don't even have to put Wulf's work up if it's too much trouble. And as for using Zendik imagery, parodies will do just fine!

 

Hmm, I wonder why they don't leave someone in all of the places they have been? You would think having more than one farm would make them stronger and bigger.Also, I was wondering if anyone knew why they left Texas..peace

 

I was in the second batch to leave Texas and I can't remember why they left!!!

Ok... If someone buys a domain name I can get our servers to point to it and install a XMB discussion forum. I figure I'll just donate the space....
I can setup a private forums so we can plot without being caught!! I get off work early today and will check in later......

Send me an email and we can get all the details worked out. We should get the initial forum set up asap so we can discuss what we want out of the site in a more private setting. I do have some things to talk about that shouldn't be for the general public to hear. I have been in contact with several people and I should be meeting with Greenhornet sometime this week. Oh and anyone else in Austin who would like to be involved send me an email and I will let you know when we are getting together to have a planning meeting.

Cool. Sounds like a nice little uprising. Good to see some creativity coming out of the chaos. I hope to get some stuff together for the project soon. Actually seeing it will help me decide what to contribute.
