Heh. Wish I had done this with some Ben Bova books I’ve read. His female characters have had a tendency, in my experience, to be indecisive and immature and it just sucked reading about them.

Well I'm still avoiding ants, and have decided I can mostly hang around inside (boo hiss) reading and other very unnecessary things.

Wonder of wonders! I have less than no motivation to do the straightening, cleaning, vacuuming so necessary for having a clean house. dang

I have an old crappy strat copy that has been hanging around since my second youngest grandson decided he didn't want to be a rock star anymore so my wife fed up of falling over it said "take it to the skip " so I did what any Man would i spent about 5 hours cutting the horns off it and sanding it down to make it into summat , Went today to the car shop to buy some paint (its gonna be a mess I promise ) next door has a pale blue citron so I thought Blue ! told the girl at the shop "blue paint for a citron but it dont have to match anything cos its not for a car ", she came back saying " I have found the very paint ." To be honest its fuck all like next doors car but she was so nice , and so chuffed with herself I said "thats perfect" It was meant to be I suppose ! if I ever put it back together I will put some pictures on Hip

Back in the day when we showed a little intelligence.

 

Strange for me it's the exact opposite I can't find a single thing in the entire house that needs to be cleaned.

I mean it's spotless.

I needed a printer no store has them and even Amazon has a several week wait. Who needs a printer in the apocalypse but me?

 

I do the same though and have to think wow did I really write that?

But a lot of that was purpose design too and I'll admit, although I'm well at speaking English it wasn't always the case when it came to writing in English. I had some problems with certain words to/too a lot of the time and my wife told me to focus on not shortening my words or using abbreviations when I typed and posted online, so my writing style did change as I wanted to progress better with my literacy.

I also seemed to have much more time to study things and watch documentaries. On another forum that disbanded now I used to have really good threads about the universe, and the show The Universe I would take that topic and have an awesome discussion about it with the others.

Really it's a similar close knit group of members like here but we were all teens and 20s. Alternative site called Dark Starlings lol.

But I guess really, it all comes down to the subject and if I'm interested in the subject, that's when I tend to write a little better.

The sad part is, I've got some good stuff buried in these forums sometimes I read things and I'm like hey this person is just like me oh wait no it is me.

But I also like seeing what I've written and seeing if I have changed too in the what do you like kinda threads.
