There's quite a few people that say I don't wear clothes my age. Then there's quite a few people that say I look younger in age because of the clothes I wear. I wear what I wear because I look good and feel good in what I wear.
and thank you : ) the last picture i posted in tye dye was branded by mel as "sexy af" so I think I even convinced her. Or she looked past the terrible hippie taste : P Actually my favourite thing is mixing things from different styles that I like, that normally don't go together. Like sportswear and hippiewear and stuff.
That's the key to looking good! I think even a 70 year old woman can look cool as hell in short skirt and fishnets, if it is truly her style and she at that age feels good in it. It's when people are using clothing to TRY and look younger that it looks lame.
sometimes I suddenly over-analyse a.. whatever you call it.. like "as hell" ..and it looks so nonsensical. Hell isn't even cool. Or cute. What am I even talking about.
I usually wear black tshirts and blue je I love that he is dressed like a princess but also wearing a shirt that for some reason has both construction equipment and dinosaurs on it.
When I was at work some point.. year before last I think. A whole family started ripping into this five/six year old because he wanted something pink. "No you don't want pink hahahahahahaha thats for girls" and I felt so bad for the kid. He didn't get whatever it was, but when he came to the counter I didn't even look at the family and just said to him "you can like any colours you want, pink is fine" Fuck them.
We got a bunch of clothes from my twin nephews, and their dad is really weird about gendered stuff so it is all superheroes and "boy" colours and such (same dude who wouldn't let his oldest join a dance class because "he isn't gay" - real winner there). But then we also dress him in my daughter's hand me downs so his wardrobe is really varied lol
Ugh, I hate seeing kids with shitty parents out in public. I get way too emotional and want to jump in and say something (which I'm sure would go terribly if I tried).
Yeah, tbh it's a color. Lol. I like pinks and purples, bright oranges too, mostly cause Denver Broncos... Okay all because Denver Broncos hehe. I don't really care for red, but I like red and black mixes, hence my earlier hair style. Even though I did have it all red at some stage... But it was nice fun red. Not red. Red. Pff. Shit color anyway. blacks alright. White does nothing for me. I'm okay with greens, greens are nice. Yellow? Yuck. Yellow lollies are always the worst so when I see yellow colors lollies, that's a no go, unless pineapple but even then probably not. Blue.. Eh I got no beef with blue or its counterparts except when stooges use turquoise font color in chat rooms like seriously, fuck off you twit.
I saw a really creepy mother and girl once too.. the dad was clearly not on the scene and they were interacting like a married couple. The mother was frustrated with the girl for not having an opinion about home decor or something.. but then when the girl did offer an opinion, it was wrong.
Good news. The lump in Atreyú is now half the size and he's been able to go to the toilet from medication after 2 days and he seems much more lively and energetic and quite frankly because I've been resting him, quite a bit of a nuesance. Maybe you cat people were right. .. Probably not.
Oh yeah my wife does that to me all the time lol. She's already got a pre determined answer in her head it don't matter what I have to offer sometimes it's always wrong. They're those little tension moments I think you need to have in a long term relationship lol. I love it when I know she's not even listening to me and then she'll look at me and I'll say "wow I can't believe I just told you that." and she'll be like... What? And I'll be like "huh? Iunno. What?" and she'll get shitty at me haha and I'm probably just rattling off some random shit anyway. But she'll get shitty because I was rude with the huh, Iunno, what? That's two rude words and a I couldn't even be bother saying 2 words, word. But she thinks I'm in the wrong. Yeah right! Gotta play games hehe. Keeps the spark.
I've been trying to grow new veggies from food scraps lately... I'm dealing with this pandemic in a weird way haha. Apparently you can grow new romaine lettuce from the "stump" (for lack of a better term), and the same with onions. I've also been planting carrot tops to grow greens for salad (or just for a houseplant). And my daughter wanted to grow another avocado tree, but I'm 90% sure she has forgotten all about it. Not sure if they will be ready for it this year, but next year I want to set aside a small section of the garden to let the kids grow whatever they want. Learning how to grow a vegetable from seed to harvest is something I'd have loved to do as a kid.
