Hey people...I wanted to stop in a speak, and have for a couple of days...but I feel so weird (before I get any furthur @Faelixx hey! ) A couple of days ago, after we went and I fed my little colony, I walked around the house and my sweet little Pretty Mama was dead. I knew as I walked up the back steps and I saw her lying there in the back yard, she was gone. She was wet around her middle, as if she were grabbed there by a big mouthed animal (a neighbor's dog that gets loose sometime probably). There was a bit of blood, but not much. She wasn't disfigured and her little head was perfect, as her body seemed...just wet and stiff. She couldn't have been gone very long...just long enough for stiffness to set in. Maybe 2 hours at the very most. It had to have happened the moment I walked inside. I just couldn't get over how rapid this happened. No warning, no suffering (thank God/dess) I truly don't think. I just know she went quick. None of the other cats were harmed but they do all seem somewhat spooked. My huge Sweet Baby that decided to live outside last year came in 2 days in a row for a number of hours. Princess has reclaimed her high perch on a tall cabinet on the porch. We're all so sad. I knew I cared for her, loved her even. She wasn't mine...to start with. I'd say she wasn't the kind of cat that could be really owned. She decided she would live her, and I fed her and kept her up medically, had her fixed. and all that jazz. She had become so loving and just always there when I'd work outside. She loved seeing me at all points, jumping in my lap asap if I was toking. Lord Lord the cats and I are still in shock I think. Here is a picture of her, not far from where I found her. :/ She was camera shy...wish I had more pictures of her. Damn I'm gonna miss her.
As far as why Pretty Mama was caught and attacked...she would stand where she was no matter what...to her demise :'( For instance...when I would drive in the driveway, I would have to stop sometimes 4 or 5 times to move her. She would trot alongside where I was driving and then run in front of me and stop..and she'd do this over and over. I can easily imagine a dog coming through the yard and all of the other cats running, but not her.
Moron truck driver. Have to unload the right side of truck, parks up against a wall... "sooo how you want me to forklift them out bud?" Huh? "I got no room?" Oh, right. Stooge.
^^ Thank you, Pete. <3 For as long as she was here, she proudly ruled...and even let the others know when they could have my attention. We're all sort of lost right now. (we = me and the cats) But we shall prevail and her memory will always be. She is the mother of 3 of the household. ______________________________________________________ If ever the number of cats here ever greatly decreases, I've decided I need a golden retriever.
New rap line I need to fit into a rap somewhere.. What's up wit y'all new age losers? Offended by all, you str8 up stooges
Thanks about the cat, and thanks so much about the yard. That is just a wee part of it. AND that's a sidewalk, not wood. I was bitten by that snake about where Pretty Mama is in that pic. I've been loping things and doing come clean up out there, plus readying 50+ pots to put impatience in. I can't wait...I'll even post pictures. When I have the back yard going good (fixed and kept up) it does look rather neat. Other parts of the yard seem very mystifying even to me...hell, I'm afraid to fool with some parts ..I don't want to mess up an ecosystem or something I have going in this yard.
Yeah I remember you saying it was a mess but tbh, that's the kind of garden fairies live in. possibly elves too hehe I know it was a hoax but I seen in a book I once had about the supernatural and some young girl was posing with fairies in the yard. Just reminded me of that photo for some reason... Probably looks nothing like it now though lol I haven't seen that photo in a very long time.
The harmonica, I call it a mouth harp, is becoming one of my favourite sounding instruments. I might have to learn mine. Problem is you can't play the bloody thing quietly can you? But I think i could get the hang of it because I'm a good whistler and whistle a tune both whistling in and out of my mouth, so I think I'd get the concept of breathing in/out of a harp.
Former V8 Supercar champion and NASCAR bust, Marcos Ambrose has some serious equipment. He's now racing as himself on iracing. He used to go under the name Bruce Smith5 when he raced with us. He must run Virtual Reality because there's no screen. His wheel base is also twice as long as mine. Motion seat rig too by the looks.
I'll listen later. Right now I'm about to start 6th in our CUP series race. I have a championship to try and defend lol.
