Please help--I'm running out of ideas! I’ve been working for a while on a collection of short stories about Boy Scouts—not the typical propaganda crap that you get from people who want to support the Scouts, but real stories from my own and my friends experiences when we were young. I’m trying to creat real stories, not whitewash. So far I’ve got some stories about: setting a tent on fire, sinking the other summer camps canoes, finding a copy of Playboy at a Scout Newspaper recycling drive (what a revelation that was, for an 11 year old!) and a few other things. But I’m running out of ideas—anyone have any good, real recollections of Boy Scouts and their antics? I’d really appreciate it! Thanks! ProfRob
My best friend always had many stories: bringing alcohol on the hikes to sell, of course being caught with porn and actually allowing it to be burned! There are always the shitter stories and what happens when 2 or 3 teen men sleep in the same tent (and I'm not implying anything dirty).
Tell the one about how the US government added the Boy Scouts of America to the official list of Hate Groups, stating that since they didn't allow gay kids/ scout leaders join, they should be right up there with the Nazi's.
heh, well, im an eagle scout now and very involved with the organization. i worked at a boy scout camp this past summer and lost my virginity at the camp post healthlodge. but thats just the first of my boy scout stories that comes to mind. ive got lots. hit me up if you want em.
