I am VeganKaty AKA Katy. i am obviously a vegan hippy, savor the moment. i am fifteen years old, full of happiness, i enjoy a little wine here and there, but i must say I have been known to smoke alittle too much, a little something something, anyhoo, i HATE our "president" bush. i wish to someday assasinate him, but i'll have to wait until i'm 18 and can purchase a gun. i love animals with all my heart. my favourite band EVER is Radiohead, they rock my socks, well, perhaps the Beatles could beat them, but only by a hair on my chinny chin chin. well, there is a token of my mnd, and there it is going to stay. Hello all!
My name's Laura and I'm also somewhat new here. I'm 19 years old and a freshman in college. My current field of study is music, but I really have no idea what I want to do in the future. I know I'm not destined to be a career person. It makes me sick thinking about doing the same thing for 60 years, working hard to move up the corporate ladder only to provide myself with nicer cars and bigger houses. That's just not the kind of lifestyle I want to get caught up in. I don't have a specific plan for my life and don't plan on making one. There are just too many things in life that can't be planned for. My total disregard for structure is a result of my unschooling. I left public school in the middle of my freshman year of high school. Probably one of the best decisions I've ever made. Hmm, sorry! Kind of getting off track! I won't bore you with my life story! :& Ok, what else about me? I love animals and have nine cats roaming my house and tofurky in my fridge to prove it! haha. Oh, actually, I finished the tofurky for lunch. It was rather tasty! I also love to garden, organically of course! And I don't care what anybody says about my compost pile because it's not going anywhere! I also love to camp and hike. This winter weather is killing me! I know I should just get my ass up and go outside anyway, but I am really not fond of the cold. So I've been spending my time playing the piano, singing, going to school, singing some more, eating too much, and oh yeah, did I mention singing? Hehe, I'm a dork! But I do love to sing. lalala! And this being inside all the time is making me feel crafty! I've been busy messing up the kitchen making candles and leaving a trail of beads and spools of hemp behind from my jewelry-making. I'm trying to take up knitting, only it's not going too well. I'm starting to get the hang of it, though. Sewing is another thing on my list of things to learn how to do. I love making things! Ok, well I think I've gone on long enough! I hope you all are well.

My hobbies are reading , skiing and daydreaming about my 2007 roadtrip in Westfalia I love music like the Beatles, The Eagles and Green Day (!!!) I don't believe in god and i think that organized religions are just a way to control our mind even more that now ... Politically i don't know exactly who i am(i am only 14 !) but it's sure i am not a god freak conservative I feel very concerned by the furture of our earth ...

I'm Liz. I just signed up about 5 minutes ago. I'm 16, and from the beautiful city of Providence, RI, where I've lived my whole life. My parents were both young adults in the 70s, and ended up carrying some of the best parts, namely the music, with them to our family. I grew up around some awesome music as a result. I'd list some new and old artists I like, but I'd be here all night. I've dabbled in stoner culture, but not made it a huge part of my life. I plan on pursuing a career in law, probably research law (I fear litigation), although what I'd really like to do is write. Writing is the one thing I'm best at. I love music, but can't play it for my life.

I'm getting tired...not sure what else to say...I'd post a pic, but I dont have any good ones. I've got some developing, I'll post those sometime.

im christa. I am 23 years. I live in Florida near tampa. I am an art student and have been an artist since i can rememeber various influences like disney and boris vallejo and brian froud. I love to practice yoga everyday.


I used to listen to a lot of metal but now i like very few my favorite band right now is Dead Can Dance I also like indie music and reggae, 60s n 70s classical and whatever appeals to my spirit. Things i like to do: I love going to concerts, hiking, making things, adventures and meeting new and like minded people for a change.




I feel strongly that the environment is the most important issue because if we can learn to live in harmony with her we just may be able to live in harmony with each other . I don't really consider myself any particular party or like to put myself in one I am just for what I am for. Live simply so everyone can simply live.-ghandiI am not of a particular religion. I have my own truths. I do not like war nor do I think it is necessary in this age we are living in with all the knowlede that is available to us. I think it is time to stop fighting and start loving.

Mostly everyone that knows me, knows me for being the craziest, hippiest, (anti-war), person they kno....they also know I love rock n' roll....I love classic rock, from AC/DC all the way to my favoritest band in the world...Zeppelin!!!

I am mexican, but I was born in the US (I hate it here) I hate the US because everything is the same here....the president's are all power-hungry, everyone basically listens to the same music, I hate rap, I hate trendy rock, and pretty much everything these conformist bastards like....but w/e man

I love art, and poetry, and music, weed, acid, shrooms, and more drugs.......I also love my baby.....Katrina (my drumset)....I love her so much....I love to play with her......and my two best friends, Ramon and Jorge(my drumsticks) we have been through many hard times...we wept wen steve was broken in half (R.I.P my first drumstick)...I regret killing him may he be in all of our memories....yup me and my two best buddies have been through a lot....but I don't mind wen they come over too play with me and Katrina....I guess u prolly think i am a loser, but if u can't appreciate me for wut I am...then u don't belong here

hey, i'm Spencer. i'm 15 years old and i live in New Hope, PA (one of the hippie havens). i've been into the hippie life style for about a year now, originally sprouting from two things. #1. Music. i love music, i play many musical instruments, listen to a wide variety of artists, and plan on going into music as a career. some of my favorite bands are: The Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Phish, Pearl Jam, Santana, Thelonious Monk, The Mahavishnu Orchestra and moe. the second major influence in my "hippiedom" was my eighth grade english teacher Mrs. Augenblick, or as me and my hippie friends like to call her, "Augie". She was very into poetry and music, and that rubbed off on me and my friends. She once had us anylize the lyrics to "Sound of Silence" by Simon and Garfunkel in class. Me and my best friend have said many times that she was our main influence to become the way we are.
I think it's really great that young people are still living the hippie lifestyle. my dad was a hippie, and is very glad to see that i'm "following in his footsteps" so to speak. by the way, you should all drop by New Hope, PA sometime in your life. it's a beautiful place, and has some great hippie shops and record stores

um i'm Hugh i'm from south africa, zimbabwe way although i currently live...elsewhere...i will be returning soon theough. I'm 16...my picture is in my gallery...musically i loathe emo and shitty pop punk but love decent punk, hardcore, post hardcore, metal etc...i like surfing, the beach and warm weather....politically i'm an anarchist....i absolutley hate emo kids....gigs and especially mosh pits rule (two man pits woooooooooo) i plan to return to south africa for uni in two years time...after that i have a vauge plan involving kombis and a continual surf trip....fuck me that'll rule SO MUCH. yeah so pm me for more information....or whatever...laters
