"Remember that US government debt increased by $10 trillion in the first few years following the last financial crisis. It certainly seems reasonable to expect a repeat performance. Some places will be able to afford such prodigious spending. Norway, for example, has ZERO net debt. Norway’s government has such a massive financial surplus that they could tell every citizen, “Stay home and do nothing for the next six months,” and just write a check for everything. They wouldn’t need to go into debt by a single penny. Italy, on the other hand, is a basket case. The Italian government has no savings, and its debt burden even before this crisis was more than 120% of GDP. Moreover, Italian banks were also teetering on the edge of disaster before the pandemic hit. I suspect most of them are completely insolvent now." "Hunter Biden and wife Melissa Cohen have welcomed a baby boy amid the coronavirus pandemic, The Post can exclusively reveal. He’s the fifth child for Biden, the son of presumptive Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden, and the first for his wife, whom he married just six days after they met. Melissa’s brother Garyn Cohen told The Post a “beautiful and healthy baby boy” was born in Los Angeles on Saturday, March 28." https://www.google.com/amp/s/pagesi...en-welcome-son-amid-coronavirus-pandemic/amp/
"Joe Biden forgot to mention two grandchildren when discussing how the Biden clan was staying connected during the coronavirus pandemic. "I have five grandchildren. Every single day I either talk to them or we text,” the presumptive 2020 Democratic presidential nominee told late-night TV host Jimmy Fallon. “I’ve got family scattered around like I suspect everybody does." Joe Biden overlooks new baby grandchild and omits another
All of the trolls trolling the political and science forums on the web can't change the facts and neither can the grand poobah of trolls, Trump. How science finally caught up with Trump's playbook – with millions of lives at stake The president’s failure to heed the warnings about coronavirus and act quickly has set in train a domino effect that now imperils large swathes of the US by Ed Pilkington in New York Sat 4 Apr 2020 00.00 EDT How science finally caught up with Trump's playbook – with millions of lives at stake excerpt: "We don’t know at what point that bone-chilling figure was presented to Donald Trump. What we do know is that on the same day, 6 March, the president of the United States was taking a tour of the Atlanta offices of the federal disease control agency, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). He was in ebullient mood. He had just heard on Fox News that the latest tally of coronavirus cases in the country was 240, with 11 deaths. Trump and his favourite TV channel were as one in their interpretation of those figures – things were going great, there was really nothing to worry about."
So in talking about how he tries to keep in touch with his grandchildren, Joe "forgot" to mention the baby who was born days earlier or "forgot" to mention a grandchild from his son's ex- wife that his son denied was his? How do you suppose people keep in touch with a newborn? And does failure to be involved with a grandchild from a son's estranged partner really count as some unpardonable oversight? Why on earth is this posted on the Donald Trump Scorecard? Trying to distract attention from the pandemic you and the Donald once told us was no big deal? How desperate you must be, to take the birth of a grandchild during these times as an opportunity for some kind of catty political dig. "Small, petty man". Weren't those your words? Such hate! Tsk, tsk, tsk.
Trump, through deliberate inaction, has now killed more Americans than our last three wars combined. He's a fucking mass murderer who needs to be taken down NOW. CORRECTION: Trump's "hoax" actions have now killed more Americans than died in the Iraq War, the Afghanistan War, the previous Iraq "Gulf" War, the 1983 US war in Grenada, and the 1989 US war in Panama combined. Contact your Senators, this fingerfuck fascist must be removed NOW.

Trump knew very early on that inaction on this would be catastrophic to our society and to our elections. He knew. Remember in Helsinki, when Trump was asked which side he was on- America's or Putin's- and he publicly picked Putin? It was sort of like that again. He had the best possible expert advice, but he literally sided with the virus. Now people we love are dying by the fucking thousands. This killer must be removed from office. Call your Senators and demand immediate action.
VG post 21758 - We should have said fuck China years ago. But then Republican Presidents from Reagan through G.W. Bush helped "so-called" American companies cut through country-to-country red tape to facilitate the offshoring of "so-called" U.S. companies to head to China, India, Pakistan, Indonesia, Malaysia, Honduras, Guatemala, Viet Nam, S. Korea, Sri Lanka, ….. the list goes on & on. George W. Bush signed a big batch of "free trade" ( aka "dirt-cheap labor" ) agreements right before he left office to repay the wonderful Republican corporate CEO's for donating billions to the party. Before anyone brings up NAFTA - that was a trade zone ONLY between the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. It wasn't world-wide like all the poverty labor that Reagan & the Bushes organized and oversaw. With NAFTA - although not perfect - at least the technology, logistics, and goods would be on the same landmass with no oceans to cross in times of war or other peril. And now we rely on OTHER COUNTRIES to supply us with EVERYTHING. Real smart actions for the long view of genuine interests of national security for the U.S. All for quick quarterly profit reports and now we're at the behest of foreign COMMUNIST enemy states for health supplies, electronic parts for our defense systems, and many other things we should be making & doing HERE. Even the Joint Chiefs of Staff saw this coming and warned of the consequences of offshoring back in the late 1970's and early 1980's. I read the reports back then as they came out in I believe it was U.S. News and World Report, and Reader's Digest afterward. But no one heeded their warnings. Leadership in the U.S. has been VERY shortsighted in the name of profits and huge political contributions. Too many of our citizens were sleeping during U.S. History classes, world history classes, and don't keep up with FACTUAL info and news. Someone has to post truth. We reap what we sow.
I remember that from criminal justice school. Either way you answer that question, you 's guilty as sin!
