Reading others peoples dreams here, some people are another sex or age or person in their dream. I can't ever remember having a dream where I was not myself in it? I have always had very vivid, real dreams that go on where one left off years ago etc. and I am newly interested in lucid dreaming. But I cannot remember not ever being in my own body in a dream. Does this have any meaning or this common?
Sorry this isn't about opposite sex dreaming, but I saw you said somehting about lucid dreaming, you may have already heard of this, but www.lucidity.com is a great site with lots of links and info on lucidity.
There seems to be loads of Melbourne lucid dreamers around, I think they hads a meet up recently too. www.lucidcrossroads.co.uk
I don't understand what lucid dreaming actualy is i read the site but i don't quite understand could anyone explain it to me?
You, that is to say your conciousness (mind) wakes up whilst your asleep and dreaming. However your body does not, its fast asleep can't move etc, your brain can't accept this state and assumes the imagary, sounds and other senses in your dream are real and so it gives you the amazing sense of complete realism within your brain. Just as your reading this on your computer look around feel the textures of objects pick them up, this is how real a lucid dream can be.
