That reminds me, i wonder how those that have been vaping like crazy the last couple years are going to go with this disease that goes straight for the lungs

I don't know if this translates to people outside the north eastern United States, but I don't even see any cops on my commute. Or hardly at all throughout the day.

My country we didnt have enough cops and soldiers for a serious lockdown to begin with anyway. We could lock down one city, but not 3 or 4 at the same time

 

Parents live in the same place but different suburb. they are fine. Everyone in my family are ok

 

Sydney as a whole has a lot of crime.

 

Just got word from a buddy of mine in the National Guard that within 24 hours non essential businesses will close in New Jersey.

We shall see if that word is true, I guess.

 

Aus has 30,000 soldiers most of whom aren't trained for this and have just been doing medical and assistance ops in places like New Guinea. 70,000 cops in Total, 1/3 of whom are really just admin

Greater Sydney alone is 12,000 sq klms

So 4 cops every sq klm would take up most of those numbers

Every city on the country at the same time, it would be something lame like 4 cops/soldiers for every 20 -50 sq klm

 

This is what I was talking about with the economic impact, wasn't just talking about money

Try lock down places like New York, Chicago, Atlanta

You'd need most of those police and military to guard the food supply; grocery stores; hospitals; transit systems, ambulances...but do you have enough to cover everywhere else?

Everyone might behave themselves for a little while until food starts to run out

Or you have some of the gangs taking advantage of the situation anyway. No one on the street means no witnesses, no one to intervene.

All at home with their credit cards and giving up their login details with a gun pointed in their face makes a lockdown prime home invasion season

Heard it put that there could be a deliberate infection of some young people with strong immune systems. Then they get isolated for 2 weeks until they recover and test negative. They are then immune to getting it again and would not be able to transmit to others (herd immunity).

Risky move though.

my partner has similar symptoms and she went to the doc on Tuesday. Turned out to be a chest infection but the doctor wasn't going to give her antibiotics until she was coughing up green shit. After some convincing he gave her a prescription but I thought it was silly that he would want her to get sicker then come back and sit in a waiting room spreading more germs around.
