Any clubs/electric ballrooms from the sixties still around?

This is probably completely pointless, I'm sure all the old places are now shopping malls, but what the hell.

Anyone know of any, or have any old experiences they want to share?

The ZOOM in Frankfurt Germany is still in operation after 37 years but the place has changed alot.

 

YES! in birmingham, uk, there's a club called "flares" on broadway. i was there on friday night, as a matter of fact. its awesome

 

The Filmore and Avalon Ballroom are still around and doing well in SF, the Greek in Berkeley.

 

The legendary "Melkweg" in Amsterdam is still going strong.

 

I wish I could go to these things!

 

me too.... once I "go to college as my father wishes" me and my mom want to try to bring some of it back.. we dont know how it will work but oh well, we're not in it for the money we're in it for the feelings
