rancid pissed on bob marley's grave...

i was searching kazaa, and typed in "ska" cause, hey, you know, ska is like pr0n for the ears... anyways, so i see "no woman no cry" on there, and look to see rancid covered it! so i dl'ed it because i've heard rancid before, and they were pretty awsome (i guess it was their older stuff), so i finally got it, and when i played it, i puked a little.

its absolute shit. marley is turning in his grave. its sooooo horrible..

I agree that both Rancid and Green Day suck, but has anyone heard Sublime's cover of No Women No Cry? I think it is pretty damn good, try to download if you can.

 

I hope its better than the Fugees version of No Woman,No Cry. Rancid is well named and they're no better than Greed Day oops I mean Green Day. Perhaps if I went out and bought a crappy beat-up guitar and banged on the same 3 chords and sang lame songs about getting high and jerking off in a whiny off key voice I could make a million dollar.

I like Rancid better than Bob Marley or reggae in general. No woman no cry is a dreadful song IMO and Rancid covering it isn't going to cure that. It would have been a good stunt if they'd actually pissed on Bob's grave, hahaha.

 

reggae, punk, and ska are all in the same family mang..
