I have my Streetwise map with my 14 coffeehouses I plan on visiting all written in, tram numbers and directions written down, and I know what buds/hash to get from each(providing these are in stock)......... Grey Area: Grey mist crystals(of course), and becouse i'm a M*A*S*H* fan the 4077TH medicinal weed. Amnesia: MK Ultra, Natural Sin, Stella Blue, Amnesia'ash, and less potient but love the sound of, Lavender. Noon: Blueberry(Ofcourse) & Melon Stix: Gunpowder & NLX Rusland: For food mostly, I saw a few weed suggestions but they didnt get written down & they slip the authors memory at this time. Bushdoctor: Kalimist Ice Tweed Kamer: Just about everything...LOL But specificly Kalimist, Amnesia, & AK-47 Abraxas: Hawian Haze & Skunk of Queens Dampkring:see Tweed Kamer. Just to see it. Gonna be hard to pick haven seen their menu. Anyday: Stella Blue Heard their stock was good at cheap prices...we'll see De Kruil: Super Silver Haze & their fondness for my hero/idol Frank Zappa...Heard the FZ is gone off their window and no longer play him...Is this true??? Picasso: Indian Katsu: Crystal Clear I know there will be many others I'll want to try but it's always good to start with a purpose...LOL Am I missing anything? Did I forget anything or am I missing out on anything good? I also am planning to hit Haarlem and all 3 WW's for their Sticky fingers, Willies Choice, and ALL their new Ice hashes. I'm also planning on hitting the magic mushroom gallery or Conscious Dreams (Which is better?) and going to Artis Zoo. (Open during the winter months? Polar bears, penguins, and seals oh my!!! ) Forgive the pun but it should be a trip. LOL Boom Chicago is also on the list...Toking allowed there? As well as the hemp museum & the wax museum (What's it's name again?) Oh yeah got my hotel booked too...LOL I decided on the Abba, good choice? I know people say any plans will imediantly fall apart but i'm a 20 year vet an very organized person and believe I can keep the plan in effect. I cannot wait till I step off that plane in Holland!!! Not only have I not had an actual vacation in over 10 years but i've never been out of the country and have wanted to go to A'dam for 20 years now. It's almost like a dream come true. Food suggestions extremely welcome I plan on spending a few dinnertimes at Wilma and Albert's Steakhouse definatly other than that I'm clueless besides Rusland. I'm not going into any of the american chains like McDonalds or any crap like that. Why bother ??? I also have to see a Febo doubt i'll eat anything but am very curious. sounds like a good plan except skip madaam trusands wax museum. also purchase a amsterdam pass for 3 days.....museums are free plus canal boat rides and transportation is also free enjoy I'll be there at the end of april my 5th time!! I smoke some of that stuff in your photo from grey area febo is alright when your stoned and hungry, don't bag on the american fast food, it's better than any other countrys fast food. nothing wrong with a big mac when your high as hell lol
You gotta stop and get the waffles that are sold at the to go places along the sidewalks, they are unbelievable, especially when stoned! I was addicted to waffles while there, me and a friend woke up one morning and went to breakfest at the Marriot where we were staying. They had even better waffles than on the street (It was $35 a per for breakfest though, I could have shit when I got the bill) But NE ways the waffles are heavenly. Haha I agree, we went to Mcdonalds like 4 times for muncies when I was there. But it does taste different than American fast food. But really you shouldnt eat fast food, you need to experience all the culture. The only reason I did was because I was there for 3 months allready, and have been over 20 times.

F Z, You're gonna have a blast. There's lots of good advice here. The 2-3day IAmsterdam card is great. Especially for getting on transportation (which is pretty easy once you get the hang of it. Walking is a bitch) and if you wanna check out museums. Don't forget to go to the VanGOGH museum, if you have the card it's free and it's beautiful place even if you don't like art. IT's fun to check out foreign grocery stores. If you go into Albert Heijn look for the chocolate covered pasteries that come two in a pack. They cost like 2 euros for the pack and it's about the best thing you'll ever eat. In a coffeeshop (hell in a starbucks) they'd probly sell these things for 10-15 dollars. They're that good! Remember to bring AA batteries for your walkman. It was a pain to have to look all over only to find that tabacs sell AA batteries for about 1.5 euros each! Like 7 euros for a four-pack. You can get them for 1/3 the price here. IF you have any questions definitly pm me. I'd love to talk more about this godsend of a coutnry.
BurgerKing in Leidsplein was almost tempting but I wasn't ever hungry enough. One night I was sittin on a bench just outside it at about 1am and these kids come walking across the plaz and this one girl in a very happy (happy like little kids are happy on christmas) voice goes, "I'm gonna get some FRIES" and then she kinda started skipping. So i thought "MMMM. Frenchfries" and I thought about thick native fries served with mayonaise and ketchup (maybe I thought I was in Belgium??) and I wondered if I shouldn't follow her, then I realized they were heading into the BK. Not bad though. She coullda got some mayonaise for her fries.

You're most enthusiastically welcome! You get the pass somewhere in the train station I think. Just ask one of the ppl in red coats by the help kiosk. (It's yellow). It cost 31 euros for one day 41 euros for two days and i think 51 euros for three days. There's a link somewhere areound here which if I find all add. The pastry I'm talkin about is called Boccessi Balls or something. UNBELIEVABLE (+cheap) oh ya, you can definitely smoke in Boom Chicago cause it's dark during the performance and most ppl won't care. You might wanna take along a pre-mixed w/tobacco to kinda keep the smell down and not only that have a real freakin dutch-0like experience. Also more convenient than a bowl. But if that's what you like then go for it! You can get the amsterdam passes at any VVV location, one of which is right outside the central station. rock on!
i am so glad you started this thread, it has peaked my excitement about going in 2 weeks! i dont know if theres enough time in the day to see all those coffeeshops but you can die trying!! im gonna go to a few nice ones and sit there for hours. that's fun. especially if you get the window seat in hill street blues in red light! i dont know about the transport pass. ive already done the museums and i like walking around and the strippenkaart will do me for the odd tram here and there. can i suggest you go to a tiny coffeeshop called saint! its down an alleyway near the tuchinsky cinema in rembrandstplein (?) its where the old planet hollywood used to be. anyway its not much of a coffeeshop, but it has the most unbelievable hash smoothies ive ever tasted! and they get you so stoned!!have the best time! i will too!
