"MANCHESTER, N.H. — Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) won the New Hampshire primary on Tuesday night, delivering a victory for his campaign after a muddled result in Iowa that produced no clear winner.

The result is significant for Sanders, though it was expected after he defeated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton easily in New Hampshire’s primary four years ago. Sanders was also ahead in the most recent polls taken in the Granite State.

Sanders outpaced former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg and Sen. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), who ran as moderate alternatives to the Vermont senator's anti-establishment campaign.

The race was close to the finish. With 83 percent of precincts reporting, Sanders took 25.9 percent support, compared with 24.1 percent for Buttigieg and 19.8 percent for Klobuchar."

"The Distilled Spirits Council of the United States (DISCUS) announced that American whiskey exports to the European Union decreased by 27 percent in 2019 due to retaliatory tariffs.

The EU is the U.S. spirit industry’s largest export market. Globally, exports of American whiskey decreased by 16 percent in 2019, the group said on Wednesday.

“Of course we continue to be very, very concerned with some of the challenges associated with the international trade environment and tariffs,” DISCUS President and CEO Chris Swonger said on a call with reporters.

Exports of U.S. spirits to the United Kingdom declined by just under 33 percent, by just under 20 percent to France, 18 percent to Germany and were down 44 percent to Spain.

“While it was another strong year for U.S. spirits sales, the tariffs imposed by the European Union are causing a significant slump in American Whiskey exports,” Swonger said in a statement. “The data is clear. These tariffs are chipping away at American Whiskey’s brand equity in our top export markets. These great American Whiskey products that have been the toast of the global cocktail scene are struggling under the weight of the EU tariffs.”"

 

Devin Nunes, Trump's fake cattleman, defied Adam Schiff today and did not show for an intelligence hearing. He's the same fella who ran to the White House during the middle of the night to warn Trump about what was taking place in Congress and in the Mueller investigation. He's also the same person who lied about knowing Lev Parnas until Parnas provided the press and Congress with proof that in fact Devin was collaborating with Trump's agents to undermine any Congressional investigation. Parnas provided solid proof that Devin had travelled to Europe specifically to dig up dirt on Joe Biden and his son Hunter Biden. If The Senate Republicans had allowed Parnas to testify during the impeachment trial, the serious information would have influenced the outcome. During the House inquiry, the Trump camp had prevented the Parnas information from daylight, with court charges. Parnas later told Rachell Maddow that he was amazed Devin Nunes had sat next to Adam Schiff during Congressional hearing while all along worked with the Trump camp. I can see Lev Parnas back during a second impeachment or criminal investigation process.

 

Trump is using the Justice Department as his personal law firm

and

using his personal law firm (Giuliani) as his Justice Department.

Democrats have started to call for investigations and Barr's resignation. I want to see Lev Parnas talking during a House Judiciary and Intelligence Committee hearings. His information should be enough to put Devin Nunes in prison.

 

If they’ve were arrested by stormtroopers in the middle of the night on a non violent process charge then absolutely. And people’s skin color is always irrelevant.

 

So now that the presidential race is a lost cause, the Democrats should let Bernie have his hard earned nomination. Then when he gets his head handed to him in the general election, he will be out of their hair and they can purge the socialist screwballs and focus on 2022.

The Daily Beast reports that Robert Hyde, a Republican congressional candidate from Connecticut, gave "everything" he had between himself and Lev Parnas, an associate of Rudy Giuliani who has been indicted for campaign finance violations involving foreign money.

Mr Hyde told the outlet he gave the House Foreign Affairs Committee "everything that I had between Parnas and I". He said the committee wanted to "talk about Parnas and how I know him" and said that "you should look into Parnas. Bad man".

Messages given to House Democrats last month showed Mr Hyde's communication with Mr Parnas suggested that Ms Yovanovitch was under physical surveillance before she was recalled from her post last year, allegedly at Mr Giuliani's urging. Mr Hyde says he was only "joking around" in those messages, and that Ms Yovanovitch was not being stalked."

1. “Trump knew exactly what was going on,” Parnas said. “He was aware of all of my movements. I wouldn’t do anything without the consent of Rudy Giuliani or the president.”Trump has claimed that he doesn’t know who Parnas or his associate, Igor Fruman, are, despite appearing in multiple pictures with him. 7. Parnas also fingered Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) in the scheme, the ranking Republican member of the House Intelligence Committee that investigated the Ukraine matter.
