I don't know why.. but one of the main reasons I don't visit the women's issues forum is because I get very annoyed by the way some of the posters there (including the one and only mod) spell 'women'.. namely: womyn. I can't stand it! I don't know why.. it's just a petpeeve I guess. If someone wants to have an alternative spelling that go ahead.. but argh! Hehehehe.. strange thing is that I don't care if you write 'cuz' instead of 'because' or stuff like that.. it's just the whole 'womyn' thing. my pet peeve is probably when you are standing in line somewhere and someone stands like literally right on your ass, and you can feel their breath on ya..that shit pisses my off beyond belief...
Me too.. I just came from getting a coffee and the woman behind me in line just keeped getting closer and closer to me... she was actually moving my hair cause she was so close... i was ready to turn around and punch her...
my pet peeve is when someone asks me to get them something right when they need it instead of a few days before they run out. It's always rush, rush, rush.
well, here is why i think. men used to degrade women and they STILL get paid a lot less on average for the same job with the same education. women used to not even be able to vote, etc. women stems from the word men. in the bible it says eve came from adam. some women just want seperate but equal.. if that makes any sense. i dont think they are trying to say they are BETTER then men... just that they dont have to have a reference to men in their titles.

'women' is more then 'men'.. and since three out of the five letters are the same it's pretty equal.. writing it differently is ok.. but don't go saying that is has nothing to do with seperation and stuff. Normal, modern English has certain rules and by that rules females are referred to as women. As soon as you go alter spelling because of some underlying issues than you ARE focussing on differences instead of equalities. Plus.. we ARE different.. last time I checked I didn't have a penis.. I'm still upset by that because I wanted to jerk of..

It is kinda annoying... theres no need to slaughter the language because some chick thought 'woman' was un-PC, then wrote a manifesto about it. And their explenation always involves something about how oppressed women are... as if thats related to the argument... most people will feel bad and shut up. Its pointless, but whatever... I guess theres no use trying to change those chicks minds.
While we're at it, let's change a few other names to make sure there's no reference to men for womyn to use. First off, I'd like to declare myself as a humyn being. Secondly, instead of masturbating, I'm going to mistressbate. When going into the sewers, I'll go through the personhole. And let's change AOL's standard to "You've Got Letters". Hell, we should start sending each other e-letters from now on. Now people can suffer from mayonic depression. How far are we going to go to try to be as "politically correct" as possible? Fuck that! and fuck the unnecessary changing of language because you feel oppressed. By today's standards, my aunt would be considered "differently abled". What a bunch of crap! She calls herself handicapped or disabled. People are way too sensitive these days over nothing. But that's just my personal point of view. One of my biggest pet peeves is not replacing the toilet paper once you've used up a roll. Leave me some fucking TP, will ya? And while we're on that subject, don't leave your children unattended at the pool! Flush the damn thing! Bigots and homophobes rank up there too.
