Wouldn’t it be refreshing to see the Republicans stop the barrage of lies and say...We’re here to serve the really rich at the expense of everybody else; we don’t care about the other 99% in America and never will.
Perhaps Republican leaders in the Senate could bribe Romney, Murkowski, Collins, and Alexander to not vote for impeachment trial witnesses, similar to what amounted to a bribe that they used in 2017 to convince them to vote for the corporate tax cut that included a provision to vandalize the Affordable Care Act. With the bribes, they were just barely able to eak a simple majority vote for Trump's tax cut.
That lyin' fuckers ass is hopefully nailed at this point, but the republican cowards are sooooo afraid he'll come up with a childish nick name for them and their cushy jobs will be in doubt because the trump-suckers might vote them out. Cowardly pricks.
The interesting thing today is Ken Starr. Remember that fat boy from the Clinton years? Well, now the Republican have him defending Trump. So, Ken Starr just got up in front of the Senate and claimed, " This has become the age of impeachment." Ken Starr actually complained about impeachments? Ken Starr spent 4 years and $150,000,000.00 of our tax dollars in an investigation of Bill Clinton and all he was able to come up with was a perjury charge. Bill Clinton had lied under oath about sex with Monica Lewinski. Just for a minute compare and contrast that with all Trump has done or been charged with during the last three years.
Oh, I don't know---a decent blow job might be worth ruining this country from top to bottom as Blump is doing.
The main thing the Trump team has overlook is the subpoenas from Congress. Trump refused to comply with every one of them and his cronies went along with his stonewalling of Congress. The result of that strategy now is obvious. The Voter know what happened and the Trump team can not change that. The Trump Team can count on their hard core supporters at the polls; but, they have overlook the American voter's love and deep respect for the law. There has been very little respect for lawlessness over the last two hundred years. There was some admiration for outlaws who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, like the depression era gangsters. The Trump Team can forget that admiration from the voters. This time the voters are talking about the smell test.
Supreme Court allows Trump policy against immigrants receiving public aid to go into effect Richard Wolf, USA TODAY USA TODAY January 27, 2020, 2:30 PM EST Supreme Court allows Trump policy against immigrants receiving public aid to go into effect excerpt: "WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court ruled Monday that the Trump administration can block thousands of immigrants from receiving public assistance while legal challenges continue. Under the Department of Homeland Security rule, legal immigrants receiving or deemed likely to need non-cash benefits for more than a year, such as food stamps, Medicaid or housing vouchers, can be denied residency or green cards. “To protect benefits for American citizens, immigrants must be financially self-sufficient," President Donald Trump said when the policy was introduced in August. It was challenged by officials in California, New York, Illinois, Maryland, Washington State and elsewhere, but only one nationwide injunction from a federal district court in New York remained in effect until Monday. The Supreme Court wiped that out in a 5-4 ruling opposed by all four liberal justices, and while Chief Justice John Roberts was presiding over Trump's Senate impeachment trial. It does not affect Illinois, where a separate court order has blocked the policy."
Senate should remove Trump, majority of independent voters say in Fox News poll William Cummings, USA TODAY Published 11:32 a.m. ET Jan. 26, 2020 | Updated 5:37 p.m. ET Jan. 26, 2020 Fox News impeachment poll finds most independents want Trump removed excerpts: "Independents said Trump should be removed by a nearly 20-point margin, with 53% in favor of conviction and 34% opposed." "The results of the impeachment question are little changed from other Fox News polls released since the Ukraine allegations surfaced in September. A survey from the cable news network Dec. 8-11, which was before the House voted to impeach Trump, found 50% thought he should be removed and 46% did not." "The economy, however, was the only issue in the survey where more voters approved than disapproved of the job Trump was doing. On guns, immigration, foreign policy, health care, government spending, race relations and the environment, a majority disapproved of Trump's performance."
