Led Zeppelin and Franz Ferdinand...

Has anyone heard that song "Take Me Out" byt Franz Ferdinand? It sounds suspiciously like Led Zeppelin's "Trampled Underfoot." Not exactly, but they're close...take a listen. I don't know how you'll respond to this post, but whatever, it's just an observation, loves

 

Hmm...I guess they DO kind of sound similiar.

 

Now that you mention that song next to it, I can really see the resemblence. I always did think that Franz Ferdinand sounded familiar, but I could never figure out what. That is probably what I was thinking. Damn.

there's a similarity to Trampled Under Foot indeed *nodnod* but ofcourse you will find Zep influences in alot of modern music.

anyone noticed how Skunk Anansie's "Charlie Big Patato" borrowed heavily from Kashmir? *tsk tsk tsk*

 

anyone else noticed that if you play the riff for sunshine of your love by cream you can make it sound incredibly like seven nation army by the white stripes?
