I really want to go to this summer's gathering and I thought I'd try to make plans for a ride as early as possible to better my chances. I don't know where it's going to be held at (duh), but I'm from Idaho and if I can get a vehicle by then I'd be willing to pick some people up if I'm able to get there myself. If not, I'm looking for someone who might be heading through or somewhere near me and maybe we could make some plans to get together? Anyone?
I am going there and back from Utah, but it will be a 5 month adventure going through Arizona (probably, I don't even know if that's the 4/20 gathering) New Mexico, Colorado, OK, MO, KY, and then wherever Spring Council is. We have room for 3 extras and/or would love to caravan. Mostly we'll be camping so not cramped in a van (w/ a trailer for stuff) but basically if you go with us you go with family and we will treat you like a brother or sister and expect to be treated simililarly. If you want to caravan that would be really cool, that way nobody has to be stuck with going where we have to go on the way, and can just meet up and camp in designated meeting spots. Thanks for starting the thread!!! I can't stop thinking about it either, and though we have to stick close to Utah until at least April 4th for taking care of business, we are eager to hit the road. And planning our packing strategy, and logistics. Look in our website if you want more info on us.
I'm just going to take a greyhound to nationals, then make my way back to colorado by whatever means I find. If you have a similar plan pm me, and maybe we can travel together a bit.
