hahaah you sound like me. down here in savanah you can get a vendors permit for 25 bux a year, and they stopped chargin street musicians. its slow in the winter, but last year i made enough to eat. it never hits 30 degrees for too long. i found a job at starbux, good benefits, i never had em before. cant let you stay where im stayin now though, i would if i could but its not my place. florida is prolly warmer. hey leki where were you when i was thinkin of goin down to florida, i dont have no friends where im at, so i woulda went anywhere just to have someone to hang with. if you do head down through savanah, drop me a line bro, i might donate you a guitar or mandolin, cus now i got a guitar on the way and got another mando last week. been homeless 3 years i found you make less playin music than if you were a begger, but you feel better about yourself. i also know of some cheap VW busses that im savin up for down in florida, so if ya got some loot, i can hook you up with one. im all about helpin out. got an extra pack too if ya got loot. its a nice internal frame alpine, but i like my dana designs too much.

Can't help you out much, unless you feel like coming to CT. It get's really cold up here though. Good luck finding a job and a place to stay.

    Much love and many prayers,

Hey, sorry it took so long to reply. I commute to Bend, OR, which is 90 miles from our land. I rent a room in a big dorm style house for $175 a month, all inclusive. Personally, it was easy for me to find work. I take care of disabled people, but I don't have much of a driving record (and no criminal record). I work 3 12.25 hour shifts a week, then drive home to my land. It's not a bad deal!

There's alot of construction, alot of health care, etc..... alot of weed in the city. Our land is high desert, but incredibly beautiful. We have a couple of campers on our land, and several vehicles and in March or April my husband will build us a little cabin.

My husband and I are two open minded christians, we love life and live pretty much off the grid. We are 4 miles down a dirt road, no electrical lines, no city water. we have a well...but are working on a well pump. We're trying to build a wind mill.

We're trying to be as self reliant as we can. Doesn't always work out that way, but we try!
