Ok, so I know that last year there was a few too many people, and it was a bit of a sell out, but I've been every year and it's still fun as hell! The line up is pretty good this year too. So who's got their tickets? I know I do!

yeah, unfortunately they go up. I got mine the first day they went on sale, so total with shipping and fees and everything, it was like $164.00. I'm not sure if they've got up yet or not! I hope not, because that's so much cash to let go at once!

I agree, but I think when it came down to Bonnaroo time, I'd be upset if I wasn't going! I'm hoping this year will be better than the last.

I have been twice and my advice is make sure you have a tent(obviously), a sun shelter of some kind (tarp or something), lots and lots of water and food. If you come with that you will be fine. Just remember if you are not from the south, the summers get very very hot, especially out in a field in Tennesse. Once again make sure you bring plenty of water and have a sun shelter.

To those of you who have nothing better to do than bash the roo', move on, take a look at yourself and realize how lame yall sound. Seriously, just because it is changing a bit doesn't mean yall need to bitch about it, personally I don't think the average person on these forums cares to hear it so just drop it. Go to your really cool "hippy" festivals with no "custies" or whatever and shut the fuck up.

P.S- If yall look at yourselves you sound no better than frat/soroity kids who like to keep everyone that is not like them out of their "events"

Jeez dude, I didn't mean for it to come out that way... chill. :p I've been co-hosting a festival for the past two years (I actually just brought a guitar and started jamming the first year and they let me in on it and invited me). I think they have enough control to limit all the littering/vandalizing if they really wanted, but there's nothing we can do unless we do it. I only wanted people to keep in mind that they should do their part in watching out for these things and cleaning up their own area and whatever that can do afterwards, even if other people are like that. Two wrongs won't make a right...

My parents bought me one for my birthday. I'm looking forward to going, I can't wait to see the Allman Brothers. Hopefully the Dead will be added to the line-up, it just wouldn't seem right without them.

And for all the people saying how much it sucks now, yeah it may suck having the Dave Matthews frat boy crowd, but your negative attitudes about them don't help any. I'm just going to go and try to be as positive as possible, if anything it's worth going just for the experience, bad vibes or no bad vibes.

if I happen to be going through the area and have the cash for the tickets, I'll buy some there, but I'm not planning on it. My whole summer is going to be so crazy and jampacked I hae no idea what I"ll have time for. I have to do two weeks working, two weeks traveling so I'll never know until right before.

and jeez, what's up with the guy flipping out for no reason? This is the only 'roo thread that doesn't have any bashing in it and yet, he's insulting people. I just don't get the negative attitude. It gets you nowhere.

VIP is the way to go. I went that way the past 2 years and you can't beat it. Trees for shade, no waiting in the traffic line, showers, free food, an extra night, ah... the memories.

    spine of a dog...good quote.

Anyways, I MOST likely will not go to 'roo. It is more expensive then ever, will have more people, and less music I like (including no moe.).

To those of you who do go, enjoy custie ville.

I definitely agree. It's not going to help anything going in with a bad attitude about people. I was really hoping that Ben Harper was going to add, but unfortunately I don't think he's going to! By the way, I didn't know VIP got all that stuff! I should've saved up, hell it's worth it especially if you get to meet all of those people!

BTW, moe. will most likely be playing.

there was a scuffle about when they would go on. they want (and deserve) a good slot on the main stage. but they got a shitty time and they are negotiating right now.

and you get the award for my favorite person of the day for being the only one who knew where my sig. quote came from!!!

That was not freaking out. There has been so much roo bashing on the other post around here that I had to say something. Yall preach about how everyone is equal and what not and then turn your nose up to different people that show up at festivals. I am probably one of those people to yall, I dont wear patchwork pants or have dreads or smell like balls or wear nothing but tie dye or dont have a job and act like a bum. I have been to all kinds of fest and hung out with all kinds of people who dont consider me a custie and I accept everyone for what they are. Bad people show up at all kinds of fest, the roo has 80,000 people going to it so there is alot more of them that you see. If yall want to see real insults or negativity just tell me and I will have no problem showing yall. Yall make me want to throw up, stupid ass hippies, grow some balls and practice what you preach.

what is your source of info on them most likely playing? I know they are playing summer camp, and taht cant be much more then 2 weeks before 'roo.

I heard they got a shitty time slot, so are bagging it. Anyways,

Listen to 11/27/04 Listen to the spine of the dog in that show....I think you will be impressed (the beginning of it is interesting) hehe
