Who here likes this group? I used to have a couple of their tapes when I lived in AZ but left them all behind. So a couple nights ago while shopping for my daughters I bought myself a new CD. As I'm typing this post I'm listening to "Paradise City".
great band. my first favorite band, listened to em heavily in the 4th grade. civil war, november rain...what was my favorite song....cant remember the name.... i cant remember my favorite song by them, it was so long ago. but i remember it was one of their longest, and the music video had them all swimming in the sea with dolfins or something. someone figure this out for me
Gnr was also my first favorit band... I got appetite for destruction when it came out (i had the scary cover with the girl being raped by the monster thing) it came out in 1987... i was 5.... But i loved them... My sisters listened to NKOTB and i listened to gnr... (there big dorks and still listen to crappy music)
Mr. Brownstone is still in rotation on my playlists. Great rock musicians, but Axl's voice just doesn't set well, plus he's an ASS.
november rain is a rele good song and so is paradise city im a fan but not a huge fan there songs sound all the same
I'm listenin to Knocking on Heavens Door right now... Got into an argument with my friends boyfriend about who was better, Guns n Roses or Slipknot (!) Guns n Roses all the way man.
I really like them. I think Axl has a great voice and love Slash's guitar style. Appetite and the Illusions are fantastic albums.
ooo i <3 this band.... the saddest day of my life was the day i found out paradise city wasn't a real place. haha
