Movies You Recently Watched

I tried to watch that movie but turned it off because his performance just wasn't on the same level as Jo Don Baker from decades past.

this movie is alright, albeit glorified crime galore. lol. It is decent. It has Matthew McConaughey, but I don't know the name of the lead actor. He's young.

 

Damn, he looks different! Wouldn't have recognized him

 

Booksmart for the 3rd time

 

Quentin sure knows how to make em. And if I had to pick an alternate reality for the conclusion of all that Manson hoopla... I sure would pick this one!

 

More than anything else, "A Monster Calls" reminds me of the lessons on life I learned in the time I spent at boarding school all those years ago. Life lessons. Emotional learning. Those are things that you cannot forget. This movie moves me in ways that I can't really describe. It was for me, a fantastic journey into the past, and one back to something that really I can never forget. What a wonderful thing to discover.



I sort of wish in some way that I thought it would bring someone else the same thoughts and feelings it brought me. But I know that's not the way it works. Enjoy this movie if you want to. I hope that it connects someone else with a part of their soul they thought they left behind.

 

Ford versus Ferrari.

 

I hear a lot of Tarantino fans complain its average at best, but I thought it was very well made as usual. Superb atmosphere, build up and climax

 

Jawbreaker

 

IMO he's made a whole career of ripping off other movies. I mean, he literally remade Lady Snowblood with a white woman. And don't get me started on his incessant need to use the n word in his movies. Hack movie maker with cringey dialog. But that's my opinion.

 

Maybe he just uses words that are readily used in life that would work with the movies?

 

I have my own issues with Tarentino but this isnt one of them. I wouldn't call what he does "ripping off." More like deliberately paying homage to films he likes and respects
