Read up on LBJ's Great Society Program. It actually did lots of good for poor people back then when minimum wage was $1.15 per hour. That's what I used to get for washing dishes back then.

they like him because he speaks his mind. this is something his followers are afraid to do in the age of political correctness. Ironically, they are afraid if they call a black person a ******, they will be labeled a racist. trump is their last great white hope.

Trump just issued a public statement claiming he will release his financial records before the election. The Mueller report he released through William Barr is fake, and the original hidden. The record of the Ukraine call was hidden in a top secret place, and his released transcript is fake. He spent millions in the courts trying to keep his financial records secret. Now that compulsive liar wants us to believe him?

An article that compares Trump's past abusive behavior with his current abusive behavior.

Trump enthusiasts might have a different assessment of him had they been on the receiving end of his abuse, like the enrollees of Trump University.

Others of the cult variety would still praise him, even if repeatedly abused by him. They would feel proud that they got shaken down by the one they love, like a spouse who keeps returning to the abuser.

People who work for Trump keep flipping because Trump keeps mistreating them
    Humiliating your employees has risks
    by Tristan Snell

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/outl...lipping-because-trump-keeps-mistreating-them/

    excerpt:

"Trump’s practice of stiffing his partners when parting ways is part of a broader pattern of behavior. He seems to have a deep-seated urge to humiliate a counterparty, even when the other person or entity is an erstwhile friend, and even when the shrewd move would be to placate. To Trump, revenge is a dish best served immediately, in public and as scalding as possible.

But humiliation breeds resentment. Rather than retaining departed partners as allies, or at least neutral parties, he turns them into adverse parties who may reappear to share what they know — especially now as he fights impeachment."

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/outl...lipping-because-trump-keeps-mistreating-them/

    excerpts:

"The New York attorney general’s civil prosecution of Trump University in 2013, which I helped lead, was a prime example. The Trump Organization’s lawyers were not cooperating with our investigation. They were stonewalling us, only giving us a small percentage of the documents we had subpoenaed from them."

"The Trump Organization was and is the primary holding company for the Trump family’s businesses, each of which is a limited liability company, or LLC. Trump University was an LLC, mostly owned by two other LLCs, which in turn were owned by Trump — a Russian nesting doll of corporate entities, you could say. The point was to make the LLCs “bankruptcy remote,” meaning any of them could default or declare bankruptcy without affecting the Trump Organization. If one LLC was shut down, it could shirk its debts and obligations, rather than having the Trump Organization step in to handle final payments."

"Through discovery in our lawsuit against Trump, we obtained emails from vendors whom the Trump team had refused to pay — with some outstanding invoices above $10,000 each. One vendor, whom we believed held critical documents, was initially reluctant to speak to us, but once I asked about their unpaid invoice, it was like I had flipped a switch. The evidence they provided was crucial in corroborating our witnesses and allowing us to make a much stronger case against Trump University, resulting in a $25 million settlement."

Forget about impeachment, forget about Russia, forget about investigating the Bidens. The bottom line is this, trump is not, never was, and never will be fit for the job of president.
The republicans know this, but they are afraid if they upset trump's base, they will lose in the primaries.
Keep in mind that many of these fuckers have never had a real job. They are career politicians.

The Trump approach dictates that it will be in the form of memos of a reconsructed partial tax return transcribed by 'very talented' stenographers under the supervision of Rudy Giuliani. It will be released in 'portions' to try to minimize loss of the time he spends at his golf resorts and to help its digestion by the public who he thinks can't understand it.

A Navy review could expel Gallagher after Trump pardoned and promoted him.

Trump pushes back on Navy review that could expel Edward Gallagher from SEALs

    excerpts:

"The president's tweet follows a report that Rear Admiral Collin Green, commander of Navy Special Warfare Command, intended to inform Gallagher and three other officers their case is being sent to a review board, which could result in their expulsion from the secretive force."

"Gallagher was accused of stabbing a young injured ISIS fighter repeatedly in 2017 and posing in front of his dead body for a photo. A military jury acquitted Gallagher of murder and other war crimes in July, but he was convicted of one charge of posing for photos with the captive's body.

Last week, Mr. Trump ordered a promotion for Gallagher to the rank of chief petty officer, which he held before he was prosecuted."

The votes of people who haven’t finished high school are as important as anyone else’s.

Article with charts summarizing the change in approval of U.S. President's leadership after Trump was elected for 100 countries. Approval decreased for 71 countries and increased for 29 countries.

The 29 countries that approve of Trump over Obama

The 29 countries that approve of Trump over Obama

    excerpt:

"Polling organisation Gallup asked groups of about 1,000 people in more than 100 countries if they approved of the president's leadership in 2016, when Barack Obama was president, and in 2017, after Mr Trump came to power.

In the vast majority of countries, approval ratings fell after Mr Trump was elected. There were large falls among traditional allies like Canada (down 40 per cent) and the UK (down 26 per cent). Australians approve of Mr Trump 31 per cent less than they did Mr Obama.

But approvals climbed in 29 countries, including Liberia (up 17 per cent), Israel (up 14 per cent) and Russia (up 6 per cent)."

Some of the largest drops in approval of U.S. Presidential leadership after Trump was elected occurred in Western countries that have been close U.S. allies. New Zealand (36% drop), Australia (31% drop), and Finland (29% drop) are examples. Those three countries (among others) also showed record low approval.

"A new Emerson poll finds President Trump’s approval has increased in the last month with 48% approval and 47% disapproval, a bounce from 43% approval in the last Emerson National poll in October. Support for impeachment has flipped since October from 48% support with 44% opposing to now 45% opposed and 43% in support. The biggest swing is among Independents, who oppose impeachment now 49% to 34%, which is a reversal from October where they supported impeachment 48% to 39%."

Impeachment fatigue setting in, or should I say non official only an inquiry not independant not yet impeachment fatigue setting in
