The Trump administration is swamped with corruption, as Trump would say, the likes of which has never been seen before.

A day that underscored the corruption swamping the Trump presidency - CNNPolitics

(CNN) -- A fateful convergence of events Friday reflected a culture of corruption and intimidation endemic to the circle of a President who vowed to drain the swamp but instead became its incarnation.

The Emperor Has No Balls was a collection of sculptures that were placed in high traffic areas in various U.S. cities simultaneously in August 2016.

The New York City Parks Department.issued a humorous statement.

"The New York statue, in Union Square, was removed early that afternoon; the New York City Parks Department made a statement that it "stands firmly against any unpermitted erection in city parks, no matter how small.""

One of the artists behind the Trump sculpture has an interest in the grotesque and monstrous. Trump is the ideal subject matter for such interests.

The Butt-Naked Donald Trump Statue Has Been Released Back to the Artist

    excerpt:

“Ginger” is a Cleveland-born artist, currently living in Las Vegas. Previous to his commission from INDECLINE, he served as the director of Eli Roth’s Goretorium, a haunted house in Vegas. His work has also been featured on various television shows and films. His ability to capture the grotesque and monstrous is what initially drew INDECLINE to the artist.

Trump Thinks Homelessness Is a Scourge. His Administration Just Ousted the Official in Charge of Addressing It.

    excerpt:

"In July, Trump told Fox News’ Tucker Carlson that homelessness is “a phenomenon that started two years ago” and “We never had this in our lives before in this country.” He told Carlson that he “may intercede and do something to get that whole thing cleaned up.”"

If he does pardon the wrong people, the Republicans will be known as the party of crime and cronyism.

How is it full of corruption if he regularly fires everybody and no one has a chance to dig in

I wonder how many swing voters in particular actually buy into this stuff

Versus Democrats like Hillary and Biden, how many swing voters think that if Hillary had become President instead, Zelensky would have been overthrown already, or "whacked" and Hunter Biden would now be on the board of a dozen former USSR area companies

As for Stone, watch, a month in jail at the most, if at all, probably just a year probation. Lying to the FBI or congress is against the law, but so is jaywalking. Lying to congress isnt as serious as it sounds because it has to be offset by the risk of some members on these committees with a perceived political agenda. They get more jail time lying to the IRS than if they lie to one of these congressional commitees

Perjury is a felony. If we don't take it seriously anymore, we're in big trouble as a nation--which we are. That's another reason why Trump has to go.

Why no independant counsel this time. Why no investigations by law enforcement in the lead up to these proceedings.

House Intelligence Commitee is doing this on the fly and obviously isnt independant

This latest one with Schiff informing Yovanovitch of Trumps tweets DURING testimony, isnt that in itself witness tampering by Schiiff himself, she wouldnt have been aware of them till afterwards otherwise

Schiff isnt a prosecutor and he is certainly not independant, this is messy

Then it comes out in almost real time that Zelensky himself thought Yovanovitch was bad news. So you get a large chunk of the public only half paying attention and hearing those two things together

Stone got charged with lying about getting his hands on the wikileaks stuff. Some of you here will froth at the mouth at that. But again its proof Trump et al didnt have a direct line to the Kremlin. The dust settles, Stone gets a slap on the wrist, probably just probation but at the same time any concept of direct intervention disappears

There are different degrees to everything. "Perjury is a felony" I suggest you get rid of every politician that has ever lied then

This currently isnt going to way you think its going, and wont go the way you think it will

Add another item to the bad week Trump experienced.

Louisiana's John Bel Edwards wins reelection to remain Deep South's only Democratic governor
USA TODAY Greg Hilburn, Monroe News Star,USA TODAY
    November 16, 2019

Louisiana's John Bel Edwards wins reelection to remain Deep South's only Democratic governor

    excerpt:

"BATON ROUGE, La. — Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards won a second term Saturday to remain the only Democratic governor in the Deep South despite an all-out effort by President Donald Trump to flip the seat to the Republican column.

Edwards narrowly beat wealthy Republican businessman Eddie Rispone, who invested more than $14 million of his own money to finance his campaign and tied himself to Trump from start to finish."

Possibly because they tried that with Mueller, and it didn't work out so well because of stonewalling by Trump and Barr's involvement. They don't want to drag this out for another two years.

Not unless they do it under oath. Then they've committed perjury. As you mentioned earlier, that's what got Clinton.

    We'll see

Your post came directly from the deep folds inside Donald Trump's mind. In 11 months the Democrats will take over, just as they did in 2018, just as they did in Virginia, just as they did in Kentucky, just as they did in Louisiana, and in Fort Wayne of Deep Red Republican Indiana.

We had a Special Counsel because the Republicans prevented us from having an Independent Counsel. It was a Republican ploy, just as everything Barr has done.

After a week like Trump experienced, it's not unexpected that he needed an unscheduled visit to the doctor.

Trump makes unannounced visit to Walter Reed Medical Center for 'quick exam and labs,' says White House

Trump makes unannounced visit to Walter Reed Medical Center for 'quick exam and labs'

    excerpt:

"President Donald Trump spent more than two hours at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, on Saturday afternoon to complete "portions" of his annual physical exam, according to the White House.

Saturday's appointment was not on the president's weekend public schedule, in contrast to Trump's 2018 and 2019 physicals, which were both announced ahead of time."

Don't worry about it. You need to worry about Adam Schiff's battle plans.
