I do have experience with Muslims. The mother wore a hijab when I was there. I guess among family she did not but I'm a guest. They had cable and new cars. They were very western too. My friend has a sister who did not wear one. There was no pressure to conform beyond what I have seen in Christian homes. The sister was expected to make smart choices with men and educate herself.

It's not like I lived with 100's of them but all my experiences with Muslims are good ones.

There are 33 others, and sharia went into effect there in 2001--not fully implemented until 2016.I notice you ignored everything else I presented. Also, a tad irrelevant, since we were talking about women's rights, and they cane men for the same offenses in Aceh, too. Aceh has gone berserk on the matter of sharia, just as various right wingers have gone berserk in other parts of the world. Indonesia's President has called for an end to the practice.

There has never been a case where Liberals celebrated diversity after a woman got flogged. However, there are many cases where Trump supporters called for the killing of immigrants, and for war against Muslim nations.

There was a Black man hung in Gilpin County in Colorado in the 1990s. You'll also find a similar killing of a Black man who was dragged behind a pickup truck until he died, in Jasper Texas. And these Black men were all killed by White Supremacists. Today, White Supremacists claim to be good conservative Christians who support Trump. And these White Supremacists hate Muslims.

For the record, I don’t hate Muslims. I lived with a Senegalese Muslim for over a year as a roommate. I just don’t like their philosophy and politics. Organized religion is a joke to me, and it does more harm than good. Islam is especially bad as it is more prescriptive than the others. Islam means submission. It is more than a religion; it is a political ideology. A very fringe right wing traditionalist ideology at that. I can dislike Islam without hating every single Muslim. I can dislike leftists and cookie-cutter republicans without hating every single one of them as well. Collectivists don’t understand this concept.
