Well if he did kick the habit, there wouldn't be a drinking problem to talk about. Unless he became one of those AA guys whose sole point of existence is to tell everyone they meet that they're an alcoholic, even though they haven't had a drink in 20 years.
What About That Guy Who Joined Here A Year Or So Ago....???...He Seemed To Know You Very Well.......Even Quoted Your "Nickname"...... Cheers Glen.
I've seen you mention this before and i've been curious about it to be honest. You seem like a well adjusted person with a lot of interests and an active life. Not your typical loner. Are you really shy? Or do you just feel like you dont connect well with other people? Sorry for being nosy
Are you offering a friendship out of pity or do you take a general liking to me? PM if you wish and we'll see how it goes. Who???
It could be a combination of different things. I don't seek friendships or relationships and i notice i turn down invitations by potential friends to hang out in places i don't particularly care for. (weddings, birthday parties, clubs, etc) If it were outdoor activities i would likely accept. People do describe me as very quiet. I'm a do-er much more than a talker.
I can relate to a lot of this. I haven't made a new friend in over a decade, I'm just lucky enough that I made friends early in life who have stuck with me. Before my introversion just completely took over my personality lol
5, met these guys in college in 1979. We went through college together and all got hired at the same place in 1981. Over the years we moved around but we still keep in touch. Couple of them I see 2-3 times a week.
