Well said. But I also feel the notion of "finding a woman" to be somewhat of a fruitless thing, as women have a tendency to suck the life force out of men.

Porn exists since not everyone can have sex but we all want to have sex. Or I guess in some cases people enjoy seeing others have sex. Human sexuality is complex.

I do think a lot of it caters to a male fantasy. I am not a hardcore feminist type who thinks it's by nature evil but the American porn industry does prey upon young women. For that reason it does exist for mankind only.

 

The general consensus seems to be that porn exists as an alternative to sex. That's interesting. Never thought of it that way.

Now, admittedly, I don't watch a lot of porn, because it's fairly obvious that 90% of lesbian porn is made by and for straight men. But any time I have watched, it was used as foreplay.

 

Y'all ever seen midget porn? A few years ago I had a girlfriend who loved watching it, not for any sexual reason (that I could ascertain) but because she thought it was hilarious. I watched it with her a couple of times and found it sickening, but she'd just be laughing her ass off. I was really quite shocked.

As for this thread, most porn is geared toward men because men tend to be more visually aroused than women. Whereas most erotic novel readers are women.
