I was just curious 2 Q's, 1) can you put weed in with tea leaves, or say a chai tea mix? I was just curious or does it not have an effect, and waste of stuff. 2) Instead of using spin (tobocca) lining the weed etc, whatever your termonology. What could you use as a substitute, ive heard of mull mixes etc, but does anyone know if they are effective, or has anyone tried anything else except for tobacco,' ive had a look around in past threads because i didnt wanna start a repeated thread however i couldnt find anything. Well, living in australia its hard to escape spun weed in social situations eh. I tried this and it worked: mix the weed with tea instead of spin. get an exotic, fresh taste. my favourite is Lemon Balm and Peppermint. it tasted awesome, left little bad smell at all (my breath smelt nice and minty, with a bit of weed smell), and seemed to modify the high a tiny bit. green tea works but doesnt taste that nice. actually no tea has tasted that great like peppermint/lemonbalm. just try with peppermint tea, thats easily avaiable. dont mix it with tea and put it in boiling water, thats a waste. you can put it in simmering/boiling milk or cream though, but that often makes the dairy product go strange.
wow. I guess it's just the cultural dif but most folks I know in the states would never put tobacco in with their weed (outside of a blunt because it's a tobacco wrap). I've heard that before though from overseas. So, if you guys are in a social setting most people prefer you mix up the herb with tobacco? When you get herb from a dealer does it come already mixed up? really, just curious. 'bout the tea though, yeah that mint is great. Licorice tea in a small amount worked well here. It was very flavorful and aromatic and didn't wreck the high or anything.
^um wtf lol never tried weed tea, i just have a comment for element if youve never tried tobacco in a joint wiht weed its definetley something you should try. I tried it last time i had some weed, it was awesome. I use a king size roller for my joints and i just loaded it up with some very high quality bud and then sprinkled some newport tobacco evenly throughout it. rolled it up and it hit hard as a motherfucker but not in a way that would choke you but in a way where you feel it going down. it made the high come on quicker and it was this trippy high cuz of the nicotine rush mixed with the weed high.
never tried weed tea, but i'm pretty sure it will be good. but i did loads of pot brownies, and theyre just awesome, can't get enough

hehehehe.. this is kinda funny Here weed is very easy to get and not 'special' or anything, plus it's super strong.. so yeah.. normal way to smoke it here is to just roll a joint with tobacco.. or use a bong.. but normally just a joint. A joint without tobacco is called a spliff I think.. very thin.. and no, we buy our weed straight.. not mixed.. although you can buy pre-rolled joints (that obviously have both tobacco and weed). HA. Wow you must know alot. Apparently this poor shmuck knows nothing, can't get any weed, and doesn't know how to smoke it. All that derived from an honest question on whether it's a social no no to not mix tobacco in with your weed or not. I wasn't knocking it or trying to degrade anyone, just curious. But, I guess that's turned into a sort of "We're better than you" type affair. Thanks but no thanks. I don't like getting high with people who make those kinds of assumptions. It's not much fun. I'll just ask my cousins that live there. btw, jointman, I have smoked with tobacco and enjoyed it. The big difference is that it wasn't the norm and there wasn't this assumption that that is the right way to smoke. The tobacco, to me, should be pure and not made up of commercial grade chemically saturated poop. I mean if that's the case, then keep the tobacco.

Here in the Netherlands anything goes.. mix it with tobacco or not.. whatever you want.. no social pressure or whatever. Probably just a miscommunication, didn't mean to come on here and be rude or anything, just as you (hopefully/probably) didn't mean to be degrading by you post. Maybe I'm a bit paranoid but it just seems sometimes like Americans think that they are the centre of the world.. sorry if I took it out on you. If you ever do visit Amsterdam, your first Heineken and bag of weed are on my account, deal?
I don't think he necessarily meant anything from the "I've heard that before though from overseas" comment. I think he was just trying to point out that some common practices differ over there than here. To be honest, I had never tried a joint with tobacco until I was in Amsterdam as it's something that's just not common or even heard of in most of the states. We tend to smoke our joints straight. No one is right or wrong in this instance. it's just one of the little differences we have across the pond.
