Donovan is brilliant. Often dismissed as a cheap Dylan he is nothing like Dylan really. Remember the Alamo, Cutting out and Donna Donna are some of my favourite songs by him and he is a wonderful guitarist

ahhh I loove Donovan, he is so underrated and I hate when people compare him to Dylan (he is nothing like Dylan) my bf got me A Gift From a Flower to a Garden for Christmas...I love that album~~ Good stuff for me and the kids. I haven't been able to find a good Donovan website which I thought was kinda ridiculous, there's hundreds of pages for horrible bands but where's Donovan's?

Yeah some of his songs I really like: Tangerine Puppet, Jersey Thursday, Isle Of Islay, The Summer Day Reflection Song, Goldwatch Blues, Donna Donna, The Enchanted Gypsy and The Lullaby Of Spring. I am surprised he hasn't got as much recognition as the quality of his songs would suggest. Have any of you guys got 'HMS Donovan'? If so, what's it like?
