there really is no such thing as an absolute fact. there are only things that happen so much more often then anything else that you can generaly count on them doing so. the pretense behind astrology IS pure horsepuckie, but that doesn't keep some aspects of it and things about it from actualy working they just don't do so for the reasons they are described as doing so for if that makes any sense (or more importantly even if it doesn't) =^^= .../\...
was that addressing me? im an aries. some of what they say about aries pple fits with my personality, some doesnt. the same with all the other signs. if they told me i was a virgo i could relate to it too. i am strongly against the idea that there are only 12 different personalities in the world. what if i told u... i think tomorrow u're gonna meet someone that will be important in your life. if u are willing to give some credit to what i say, then u'll probably unconsciously start lookin for someone new that could become important in your life. thats just free will. and then if u do meet someone (accidentally or cuz u unconsciously made it happen), will u say that i have supernatural powers, and that u can rely on them?
That's not really comparable. You said TOMORROW. So you were talking about the near future. What happened to us was AT LEAST 1 year appart. So the distant future. You obviously didn't read the post. And no, we weren't addressing you Crayola, we were addressing kandahar. And there aren't just 12 personalities. Astrology doesn't base on only sun signs. There are also ascendents, medium coallies, Moon signs, the 12 houses, and the different planets. But your ascendent, sun sign, and moon sign, are generally the most important.
No the book I had was specifically for Taurus .I went right through details such as my asendant sign and and moon sign and so on.It was its laughable inccuracy that made me become disillusioned.
Ascendant sign and Moon sign are not "details" in the chart ... A detailed chart is literally that and involves all the bodies of the Solar System as well as the Fixed Stars. You are not talking about astrology. Your book was not a book on astrology, it was a book written for the masses ... and most of those books are worthless rubbish, so we probably agree.
Of course there aren't only 12, you are taking a WAY too simplistic view of it, there is a lot more to it than your sun sign, not to mention it doesn't define your personality exactly, merely influences it and hints at things...
Bilby publish your birth data and I will take a look. Zandahar I will publish yours over the weekend ...
I have been studying astrology for years. I am not an expert, but judging from the timing of certain events in my life, I have to say...it always amazes me. I don't get too deeply into it. I use a simple method, and check my transits. Then, I try to plan my life accordingly. I also use it to keep track of certain worldly events. If the moon can affect the tides, the other planets can have an effect as well...If my transits are not favorable for socialising, I don't push my luck, but I wait for a better day....
I have done charts for skeptics. I advise doing skeptics charts with their friends around to hear the reading...some people are in denial, and will try to wiggle out of an accurate assessment...and call us fakes any way. No matter how good we are, and no matter how much we prove, they will write it off to a lucky guess...so, in general, they are a waste of time. On the other hand, I have had people say "that was too accurate...don't tell me any more..I don't want to know"......and then there are those who decide to study astrology...and that's great.
