Haha, I have like seven on this computer. The rest are on my old one that got fried... I borrowed about a $400 condensor microphone from a musician dude the other day ago and wrote an acoustic folk-blues thing with the Martin. Jesusssss... it sounds so rich on my Martin. I need to get a better mic... I put the really good stuff on soundclick. I mess around with a cheap PC mic and everything most of the time, just practicing covers, that's what I usually send people.

 

BTW... I'm starting to realize that a lot of my own blues stuff sounds a lot like Robert Cray's playing, on a strat. I like my les pauls less, but they're nice to play stuff like Blue Sky, Soulshine, or Rambling Man by the Allman Bros... also, Peter Frampton/Humble Pie and Cream is pretty good on it, but overall, I like strats better...

 

I went and listened to your stuff from your sig pic and was very impressed - you certainly have 'the touch'.

As for guitar preferences - I much prefere a Les Paul over a Strat, I just like the chunkier sound to them.

I just got back from listening to you. That's a sweet touch you have there. I do hope you can find some people to jam with. If the distance in miles and age wasn't so great, I'd invite you up for a jam and be damn happy to have you.

I have yet to play a Les Paul, or anything other than a Strat, but going by look, I'd have to say Strats are the coolest. :H

 

Yeah... don't get me wrong, I loveeeeeeeeee my les paul for things like Neil Young and especially Allman Bros. and southern rockish stuff, but my strat has always been more versatile. Thanks everyone.

I like the look of a les paul better, but I like the feel of a strat.
