Bush cuts Enviromental funding

This is one of the things thats makes me despise Bush. While he is asking for billions for his little war, he cuts funding from other programs that are actually worth a shit.

Yeah I mean but I understand how the war is so much more important then anything to do with helping people or saving where we live

 

i would much rather see that money go towards the environment as well, but it should be noted that they're still following the planned budget, it's not like this came out of nowhere and is directly the result of the war in iraq. if you really want some funding problems to bitch about, how about the underfunding of his ridiculous NCLB plan? about 27 billion dollars has been withheld from that program. a much more important issue, i'd say.
