Do you think if someone lives for their BMX bike, or car and loves it, and washes it, and really thinks of it as the greatest thing in the universe due to the joy it brings them. Would they be an Idol Worshipper, I think so. I also think that people that live for sports and hollywood folk are Idol worshippers. Anyone agree? AMERICA IS BABYLON STRIKE THE MOTHERFUCKA DOWN!

Do you think crackheads are idol worshipers?

How about a scientist that discovers something about reality that benefits humanity?

How about the person who works hard and makes a successful business?

How about christians, muslims, buddhists, or jews who would rather die than give up their faith and acknowledge reality?

A crackhead is an idol worshipper definately. A man or woman that sees rock cocaine as the highest entity of the universe and builds his life paradigm around it. The science is different, I don't know. The buisinessman if he has no other belief system other than success and values that as the most important part of (the universe) not his life, then yea I definately think he is an idol worshipper. As for those that die for their religion ( I dunno where you got buddhist from LOL) even though they do worship idols just you dont usually hear of a buddhist terrorist attack. Crackhead is definately tho, cuz crack is made by man. A pothead is not an idol worshipper if they worship weed because it is a natural plant. Therefore not of man or his creation.

I asked the questions I asked for a specific reason. If someone is an idol worshipper- they do not understand reality enough to use it successfully.

Reality is used by the successful businessman- he gets what he wants, knows how to do it.

Reality is used by the successful scientist- he manipulates and participates with reality.

Reality is not used efficiently by those whose faith does not acknowledge reality (fundies, etc.), who percieve reality with a "cargo cult science" mentality.

    read this to understand: http://www.physics.brocku.ca/etc/cargo_cult_science.html

I would say that religious fundamentalists who ignore reality are the true idolators. They ignore what is real and go through meaningless rituals designed to appease an idol that does not exist (confession, the taking of sacrament, bowing towards mecca) because they think it will cause something good to happen. I think the story "Cargo Cult Science" should be taught to every single human being before they get lassoed by their parents false beliefs (cargo cult science mentalities).

Ohh, please do 32 hail marys and send me 5 dollars so God doesn't strike you down for reading this message.
