I am absolutley glued the the tv show auschwitz, its very interesting. I cant believe the amount of ex SS soldiers who still believe what they did was justified! Has any one else seen it?
Its really interesting, they even have footage of the prisoners being led naked into the gas chambers. I would really like to visit there, I bet its soo spooky!
I'd like to go sometime too. I think it doesn't matter how much you read about it or watch movies about it...I think it would take really being there, in person, to really pick up the vibe, you know? I bet it would be totally overwhelming.
I don't know of the show, but there was a special recently on PBS about it that I saw. I bet it would be completely overwhelming.....
Just imagine, there are still people alive who were ither prisoners or soldiers. they must have nightmares!
its not really something that is "spooky" or "wow there's still people alive from there"... I've been to Auschwitz. And Treblinka. And Majdanek. And the Warsaw Ghetto. And the Krakow Ghetto. And Schindler's factory. It's not spooky. Its heart wrenching. It's terrible. It's ugly. It's hateful. It's awful. But spooky really isn't a word I'd use to describe it. And people who are still alive from it? Yeah, I know a few of them personally. It only happened 60 years ago. My family died there.
I think it is fantastic that the greatest female singer ever (and biggest selling) and the worlds greatest star is Jewish, I am of course talking about Barbra Streisand. I think it is dreadful that there are people who carry those beliefs on. It is a man made evil and has no place on earth. Ultimately I think religion is a bad thing, the amount of people it has killed in history is staggering, particularly when people believe their own versions of religion.
I went to the space center here in Kansas and i know this is nothing even close to what is being discussed here but they had a section on the first rockets made for world war 2 and how they had consentration camp prisoners build the rocket bomb things ...it was sad.
Barbra is definately the biggest selling female artist of all time. She is infact the second highest selling artist of all time, only Elvis has sold more, she has sold more than the Beatles. Thank god you are wrong about Celine Dion! The fact that Elvis, Barbra and The Beatles are the top three is the only time public taste has coincided with what is actually good.
