I think God is in all of our hearts, you just have to find Him within yourself. Jesus said 'For lo, behold, the kingdom of God is within you' or something..it's in Luke so you can look it up if you want, I'm too lazy right now..lol.

I'm glad you asked that question, Chief.

I'm interested in reading the answers. Because, I've wondered myself why I've heard from some Christians who say that God is "in" everything, yet, they always seem to not believe that if he is "in" everything. Why can't he be inside human beings as well. Why can't he be inside animals, if he is in everything. Why can't he be inside trees, bushes, flowers, rocks.

Yet, if God is in everything, my biggest pondering is, why do they always look outside themselves when talking to God or when seeking God? Why? If God is inside all things, and God is all things, then why look in the one place so far removed from the self ... up in the sky ... the one place you can't reach. And even if one could reach up in the sky, they would still look further out of their reach.

I asked a Christian once if he would like to see God.

    He said, Yes!

I said, go home ... go home and look in a mirror ... if all you see is yourself then that is because you are not looking for God. If all you see is yourself, then that is because you are so attached to yourself that you cannot see God.

And this from someone who does not believe in 'God".

Whatever you call your feeling/thinking apparatus (heart, mind, or imagination), that is where God would live if God existed. If God does exist in everyones heart, doesn't it seem like God likes to ignore the majority of the hearts God exists in and instead only picks the hearts of rich and successful people?

In real life, reality responds to the powerful and the powerful enjoy life to its fullest extent. The weak respond to the powerful and can not enjoy life to the fullest extent but instead satisfy themselves with lies that the powerful encourage them to believe. This sometimes binds the powerful to some plan that encourages belief in said religion (which is why the U.S. government supports an obviously prejudiced, racist, and ethnist government such as Israel's existence- Israel's existence causes stronger (xian) faith in the (so called) Word of God). Of course, as with everything, the first people to come up with this plan of population control were smart enough to make themselves integral to the plans existence- talk about an inheritance for your ancestors!

Like some dude said, you need to be a master of heaven and the earth to win at war. The earth is reality and heaven is the imagination of the people you need to control to rule the earth. Go Jews!!! I mean, Jesus!!

Jesus is at the door of our hearts, but we have to let him in through faith.

Is He sitting or standing? What does He spend His time doing in there?
