Can I still vote for Donald? I agree it's my right to call a spade a spade or rather a racist a racist. Their attendance has been down for years and most Americans don't watch it. They have a loyal viewership of a certain type of American I suppose. I prefer F1 since it has right and left turns. Just more impressive car design and competition for me but I wish I was European so I don't count.
Lol F1, race is over after the first corner 9/10. The reason nascar attendance is down is because of the limited horsepower this year and nascars constant change of the rule book. Meanwhile grass roots racing is making a surge in America at your local short tracks. While not "NASCAR", it is still deeply entrenched in the culture.
It's dominated by a few teams with money more so than NASCAR. And those teams usualy win. I would not say at the first turn but passing is rare and you earn it. With NASCAR the chaos and close proximity seems is what fans like but it also has their dominant drivers.
Trump says it's video games that cause mass shootings. Ok, let's say that is true. The whole word plays video games and does not have mass shootings. They also don't have our gun laws. So logically this mans if we change gun laws there are not shootings. Their laws work. Either that or we ban video games which is actuly what his voters want to hear. They are old and it's still the 1980's for them. The kids on that damn Nintendo not doing their homework is the downfall of mankind.
It all started from that duck hunt game I tell ya. That fucken dog was a pain in the ass and all anyone wanted to do was kill him.
In case you somehow missed it, Donald Duck says anything that appeals to him at the time, which is why he was elected.
OK, my wife and I both had guns and also conceal-carry permits. I don't think either of us are mentally ill. After my seven years in the military and two on a Police Department, I just didn't want a firearm anymore. The reason I have one now is due to something that happened here in Florida years ago. We often stopped at a really nice rest area off of I-10 west of Tallahassee on the way to and from Oklahoma. We read that a group of thugs had shot and killed a Brit couple at the rest area. I realized that, if I'd been there, I'd have had to try to help. And, without a firearm, I'd have been really handicapped against numerous punks with guns. So I purchased a S&W .357 revolver. It's what I used as a cop and most familiar with. I only carried in our car when we traveled. My wife began driving alone to and from her family in NC and we got her a S&W Bodyguard. It's a small .38. Now she did take the conceal-carry course required but I, personally, trained her. She only carries it in her car to and from NC. OK, back to mentally ill concerns. I do, however, agree that the punks who want to play military and have AR-15's have a mental impairment issue. And I cringe on folks who have no real background on firearms and go out and buy Clocks or other clip fed handguns. I can just see them in a stressful situation pulling their Glock out and it won't shoot because they hadn't taken the safety off. Then, after they've been shot once, they remember and take the safety off and pull the trigger again, with no results. So, they get shot a second time. Then they remember that they'd forgotten to chamber a round. But, hey, too late for that.
The Deep Disrespect of “Now Is Not the Time” for Gun Control For instance, hours after the El Paso shooting, Fox News commentator Steve Rogers was shaming Democrats for calling for new gun laws, saying “now is not the time to politicize a horrific incident like this.” Texas Governor Greg Abott, who was endorsed by the NRA and currently has an A rating, said in front of cameras “we need to focus more on memorials before we start the politics.” This is a favorite technique of the Republicans, designed to paint Democrats as disrespectful of the mourning process by “using” these mass shootings to push forward their political agenda. The absurdity here is that in a world where there’s a mass shooting in the morning and a mass shooting in the evening, there seems to be never any time at all in which it’s appropriate to talk about gun control. Instead, opponents of gun control are making the ridiculous assertion that our political agenda should not be informed by an increasing number of public mass murders.
If you hang out at a gun range for one day chances are you will see at least one person kicked out for doing something reckless and a few other people who clearly think the gun is "cool" and do things that while reckless don't get them kicked out. These people can still buy any gun. They take the attitude outside the range. Yet the NRA claims if you own a gun you are noble and smart automatically. Their "safety" test is a joke. I passed it the first time without studying or handling a gun in my life. The only question I got wrong was I said if you drop a loaded gun it can fire. So let's say I assumed that and had a gun. I'm still being safe. If I think this no one is hurt since I am extra careful. The low bar of rights. Nothing about gun ownership is meant to be hard even though the same NRA will go on and on about how you as a gun owner have a duty and to be safe.
Panic Which is just the type of paranoid thinking that makes many think many gun owners are unstable. ‘They’re all out to get me/us’ They don’t really care about any of the deaths it’s really about attacking my/our rights It’s all a conspiracy by them to blame us so they can take away my/our rights They are out to get me - they are out to get us It's impossible that these people might care about those killed by guns NO it can only be because they don't like me/us I mean that reply is basically the definition of paranoia
Kankoon Again push the fear and paranoia – watch out you are going to be attacked any second – get a gun - watch out your home WILL be invaded – get a gun – watch out people are trying to hurt you – get a gun….. Why do you think you are going to be attacked? I don’t think I’m going to be attacked why do you? Why are you so afraid? Why are you so paranoid? Why are you trying to sell guns?
Knee-jerk is not really the term I wanted to use, it came up at the moment. What i was referring to is people who have no first hand experience with firearms and make decisions based on what a few radicals say. I suggest anyone who is unfamiliar with firearms go to a shooting range and arrange for a lesson in gun safety and actually fire a few rounds. If not that, research the subject (as we do on other subjects where we cannot gain hands-on experience) from a number of sources before making a decision. Throw out the extremes at both ends of the spectrum. Voters failing to research the candidates have gotten us into the mess we have in Washington and many state houses.
