What does the future hold ? No one knows of course, there are those who will tell you that heaven is filled with virgins, all you have to do is blow yourself up and as many others as possible and the virgins are yours.

Some will tell you that heaven is pearly gates, angels and trumpets blaring. Others dont believe in any afterlife at all.
As I said no one knows,we can hope that we didnt live in vain, that theres a reward, that our beliefs werent just dreams because were afraid that death is final. Death, thats something that most of us cant grasp, we know it happens, its inevitable, and theres no escaping it.
In my own opinion if you need to be Catholic or you need to be Jehovas Witness, or Jewish, or Muslim is of no great concern because in the end we all die the same. I refuse to believe that one religion is more important or more accurate than the other. I mean some of our beliefs are only because of the place we happen to live. If you grew up in India theres a good chance youd be of Hindu faith, in Italy of Catholic faith and so on.
Is this to imply only a select few will be blessed with salvation ? That seems rather absurd to me.

I think perhaps its much more important how we live in the here and now. How we treat our brothers and sisters today means something concrete, we can affect our neighbors now and see direct results. If we live true to what is generally accepted as good and we extend ourselves to our brethren then we are living well, and there will be some that will follow by example. This is making sound changes in subtle yet distict ways and we do this with our children and we learn from those we admire.
I dont know what the future holds for us but I do know my life is vastly improved by living well now.

What's important here is to remember that the religions of the world operate on the same fundamental principles of altruism, and faith combined. They all share a basic karmic ideology; Christianity promotes the "do unto others" approach, as does Buddhism, without the huge plethora of coded symbology to boot, or at least not in as much of a diluted form.

The root religion is that of the divide between positive and negative energy. The majority mix these two forces together in their lives, and things continue steadily for them. There are those that defend the two differing representative philosophies obstensibly, and do so with varying degrees of ability and motivation. It is the case in this world at the current moment that there IS a divide between these two aspects of reality, and there is a conflict to win over the hearts and minds of the middle of the roaders.

It is important to keep an open, broad perspective, and to not let the divisions bother you - they win on two fronts when you allow yourself to be put into disarray by foreign negative agents. On an individual and a polimatrichal level, we need to encourage and take part in positive creative actions.

i think that 30 years from now we're gonna be reminicing and longing for today

the earth is slowly but surely distroying itself unless we act NOW

I think you should live life to the full and to the point where your happy no matter what happens when you die even if it is the end.

I used to worry about death but I have just had to accept that it is ineviatble and is going to happen and I will never know what really happens.

I think you should live everyday to the full, treasure every moment and everyone. Lifes too short so make the most of it.

    "Whats the use in worrying"

Two things - first, there's the question of empowerment. It's ok to talk to those in affluent western countries like this, but in many parts of the world, there is only a hard struggle for survival.
And even in the so called 'free' countries of the west, how much power does any individual have to change things in any significant way? Not much, in my opinion.
A person can try to live their life according to their understanding of good and bad, but there are big collective forces lined up to prevent it going very far.

Also - what is 'generally accepted as good and bad'? These categories vary enormously between cultures and even between individuals. Do you mean according to US standards, European, Japanese, Kuwati or what? Because they all have very different ideas on what is and isn't acceptable.

humans are a species. species are meant to help eachother, and when animals get too greedy, or fight amongst themselves or run out of resources, they often die off.

humans should use our ability to predict our own demise to make a stop to it!!!

well never know what happens after death till it comes, if there is an afterlife, its more probable that it doesnt choose where to put people too.

but we dont know whether ther is or not so i see living for your death as being stupid, we should all live for our lives, live for today, for tomorrow, for every day until the day we die, but we should never live FOR our death, as religions such as christianity preach

as long as we have humans living for death, how will we prevent our world from falling?
